In this video, reproductive endocrinologist Dr. Chantae Sullivan-Pyke breaks down what you need to know about bleeding during pregnancy. Although it can be completely benign and happens in a quarter of normal pregnancies, bleeding often indicates an emergency such as miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, or problems with the placenta that should be evaluated immediately.

I think this is something that needs to be looked into more because it's incorrect I have had six children and I have had a regular period with all of my children and lots of negative pregnancy test while fully pregnant

Yeah I agree doctors need to update their books cause it’s definitely possible to have a regular cycle and negative test
