​@esval3054 I recommend to use protection until you are atleast 2 years into full menopause just to be on the safe side. Media is always telling women that after 35 years women can't get pregnant but that's not true. Along as you have a period at any age it's very possible to get pregnant. I thought that me being 42 I was unable to get pregnant and boy was I wrong. I'm celibate at the moment but I'm not taking any risks in the future.

Im literally in tears as Im scrolling through the comments. So many successful stories of women who conceived over 40. I so love reading your stories because messages I keep getting from others are as if its not really possible. I had two miscarriages, one at 34 the other at 36. At 37 lost the baby at 5 1/2months pregnant, was completely gutted. Im 43 now. Took me 1 year to get an appointment with fertility doctor. Ive done all the tests and everything is fine. I found a lot of vídeos on youtube that are trying to freak 40+ women out so they will rush to get IVF. We did a blood tests and sperm tests, and they all came back normal. I had my 4th child last year naturally at the age of 44. We weren't trying, it just happened accidentally (but on purpose by God!). I was quite surprised when I missed my period, and thought there was no way I would be pregnant. But I was. Thank you for this video. I hate searching for pregnancy after 40 videos/information and getting clobbered over the head with doomsday scenarios. Every thing seems so negative! I get there are risks but this is the first time I’ve heard it explained in a neutral way with help on how best to deal with the risks. I’m tired of feeling like I’m selfish or misguided for still wanting a child although I’m at the healthiest, happiest, most stable point in my life. Had I met my fiancé earlier, sure we would have started earlier but that wasn’t our fate. Best to all the moms-to-be out there. I am a relatively fit person who exercised regularly , do not smoke, do not consume alcohol and eat mostly whole foods. My husband is slightly older than me and lead the same lifestyle. I finally became pregnant after 5 egg pick ups and 4 embryo transfers. I gave birth to a healthy baby boy at 38 weeks gestation due to anterior cutaneous nerve entrapment syndrome that was causing alot of pain as the pregnancy progressed. Both my husband and I were investigated and no cause for infertility was found. I'm still recovering from the pregnancy and delivery. I see ppl half my age who seem to bounce back faster after their delivery. I guess I need more time to get back to normal. Taking it one day at a time. My message would be, do not give up but do not forget to live your best life and find happiness in other areas of your life as well.

I got pregnant at age 37 (after 10 months of trying, just 2 months shy of becoming 38 years old). This is my first baby 28 weeks 2 days now,, due on April but I was put on bed rest and progesterone therapy starting 24 weeks because my cervix opened to V shape. Apparently the OB told me I have cervical insufficiency. Fingers crossed 3 months more to go, praying I and my baby make it safely.

I had cervical insufficiency after I had surgery on my cervix. Was put on bed rest at 28 weeks. I carried my Baby to 32 weeks when I went into labor and they couldn't stop the contractions. My Baby came out totally fine and just had to be in NICU for a week for observation. The thought of having a Baby early can be so scary. But having a Baby early can also end up being totally OK! Praying everything goes well with you and your Baby comes out perfectly healthy at the perfect time ❤

I remember looking at the reviews and women saying they’re now pregnant after trying for awhile. My husband also took vitamins that support sperm health and fertility. Again, im not sure how well those things worked but we got pregnant our first night together. My first child is now almost 24 yrs old.

@@lizzie2301 3.2 and my husband had 50% good sperm. To qualify for free IVF from NHS, 10 AMH is the requirement. I am not sure 3.2 in what Unit...but Gyne dr told me it is much lower than my age and i wont qualify for free NHS IVF.

I am 44 years my OBG told us that we are perfectly fine and I have regular healthy monthly period. But our issue is TIMING because we are working and residing separately in different emirates as such for us timing is everything. I am feeling early symptoms... I think that’s how it’s supposed to be and if you’re healthy you stay fertile until menopause. It’s what makes sense. Why would women get their periods for 10+ years and not be fertile still? It seems like a big waste of energy for the body.

All the tips the doctor gave are so true. It is important to get tested and your numbers...FSH, AMH, TSH, do you have fibroids, polls, endometriosis...etc. Please know that you can do it. I am 41 and I am going through my 2nd IVF cycle. I had 16 eggs retrieved, 13 mature. 12 fertilized, 6 made it to Blast and 4 were normal. We did PGTA as we wanted to increase our chances of achieving implantation. Sending baby dust all our ways 😊

I am 43 right now currently pregnant I started fertility process April 2021. My fertility doctor told me that my egg volume was very low even at my age and my husband's sperm count was very low when we were tested in out 20s so he didn't test this time and my fertility doctor told us about adopt an embryo program, so we went that route. I did have an IUI in my 20s but didn't take so never tried again. I do wish I knew the stuff I have learned now knew then but I guess it wasn't the right time then. I am 15 weeks and 5 days now.

The only time having PCOS has been of benefit for me is getting pregnant ama. Between 27 and 35 I did lots of medicated cycles, iuis and round of ivf and got 1 take home baby, 1 baby born preterm (died) and several miscarriages. Got pregnant unexpectedly at 39, healthy baby. Tried for another, conceived 2nd cycle trying with no interventions, delivered a healthy baby at 41. My amh was over 40 pmol/l at age 40 and 2 months.

I'm 39. Got married 3months ago, being taking folic acid. I didn't missed my period but was feeling differently then after my period I went to the clinic, did a blood test and it came out positive. I went back to the clinic for a scan after 3weeks and was told there was no baby. I felt bad went to another clinic, did another pregnancy test it came as negative. Myoinositol works well for women who have elevated testosterone levels, (because it decreases testosterone), BUT women with low testosterone should NOT take it. So women should definitely get their testosterone levels checked before taking this supplement. Vitamin D3, E, Co-enzyme Q10/ubiquinol, and Methylfolate (i.e: natural, active form of folic acid) are all great supplements to take.
