Can you leave knives at the fog wall and gather them again when you run out? If so you may need to redo this run without the summon cheese.

You can but I sorta consider that a glitch, plus it would only help with Quelaag really, everything else has way too much health or a drop after the fog gate meaning you can't get back to it

I think you can drop extra throwing knives right at the edge of the fog gate so you can have more than 99. Saw someone do that for a Dark Souls 3 consumable only run. Would probably also work for Dark Souls 1.

Yeah that is possible to do but it's sort of a glitch and it wouldn't really help in the long run because of Four Kings and Nito where you can't get back to the fog gate

One thing you could try to bypass carrying limits is to drop some number of knives right on top of a fog gate, then refill from a nearby bonfire. Then when you run out during a fight, you can go to the fog and pick more up. Doesn't work for all boss arenas but it seems viable for a few, like the Gaping Dragon.

Hey, I was just wondering what resolution do you capture your footage at? As a starting up youtuber, I'm often noticing my videos getting some absolutely abysmal compression, like practically unwatchable at times. I record at 1080p which, while not fantastic, I consider to look good enough at least, and change project settings 1440p to counteract the compression as much as possible.

I've always used throwing knives in my playthroughs, even though it does shitty damage, they are great to lure enemies, it can be very useful in certain scenarios where lots of enemies are close to each other and you want to fight one at a time
