JK - Can you beat Dark Souls 1 as a Gargoyle? -Stone armor only (Gargoyle helm allowed if it drops) -Gargoyle weapons/shield only -Flame whip pyromancy allowed (most like fire breath) -other pyromancies NOT allowed Collect stone armor and Gargoyle's halberd first, then start over from Firelink. The octopus really is an amazing creature. There are so many vastly different species as well. Did you know the top 3 most venomous creatures in the world are all marine animals? Including the absolutely deadly (and tiny) blue ringed octopus.

22:34 Occult does not "turn the Arcane stat into pure damage instead of improving your status buildup. Occult increases Arcane scaling on a weapon without adding a flat status to the weapon. And Arcane increases any existing status effect, so if you have Bleed or Poison already on a weapon (such as with Hoslow's Petal Whip) then Occult will still dramatically increase the status effect. At 80 Arcane, Occult weapons come very close to Blood/Poison weapons in status buildup but have a lot more damage on top.

Actually this helmet was one reason for me to play the Elden Ring Reforged Mod, where you get a special currency, if you start a ng+ cycle right at the beginnning, that allows you to buy every item in the game. Ok, I gotta come back to comment this. During my fight with Theodorix in the Consecrated Snowfield, he did his charge attack, accidentally aggroed one of the Giant Octopuses nearby, and got his shit absolutely slapped. The octopus brought him down to one-shot from a little over half HP too. I have witnessed the might of the octopus firsthand.

21:45 I have "killed" Adula in her first location only once before because I was curious, so I used a hypermode build. Can confirm she is unkillable at that location and is scripted to fly away no matter what. She's only able to be killed the second time you fight her.

As far as I can tell it is impossible to kill Adula before she teleports. She becomes immune to damage once she reaches half hp. It may be possible if you one shot her with an attack that is actually one shot, and not something like comet azure which does multiple ticks of damage. But the wiki says that is also impossible. Wiki is probably correct but they don’t site their sources.
