Can you beat Ghost of Tsushima with only Counterattacks?

Honor! I need it if I'm ever going to return to the fire kingdom and regain my father's love! Oh, wait. Wrong story. Oops. As Jin Sakai, I'm supposed to be an honorable samurai no matter what, but war changes a man. But not this man! I'll be so honorable that I will strive to beat all of Ghost without attacking unless attacked! Not just attacked, but only attacking back if I can time my parry or dodge so well that I can perform a perfect parry or dodge! With this, I shall bring honor back to this land!
Rules
May not attack unless through perfect parry or perfect dodge
May not attack archers except by bow, with one shot per archer attack and only after sidestepping the archer attack(may not roll out of it)
No charms, healing or ghost weapons allowed except the small healing provided from perfect parries
Any armor is allowed except for Sarugami armor(Will only ever use Ronin/Ghost armor)
Beat entire Ghost Story

Of all of your challenge runs, what would you say are your 3 hardest you've ever done?

That's a great question! Hmmm, probably 1.Spider-Man(2018) No Damage at all run because it took so many hours and I could only do it with new game plus which will always haunt me. Pure hell 2. Dark Souls 2 DLC No Healing. That one nearly broke me and forced me to become much smarter about the fighting which I always hate to fight smart. It's against my nature 😅 3.Arkham 1 life challenge of all 4 games. Arkham series has been my near lifelong favorite game series, but that challenge was unexpectedly so much harder and took so much longer than I expected. Just so easy to destroy a whole run from a dumb mistake. Bonus: Jedi Survivor No Lightsaber because just how many things I had to figure out, but it was one of my most satisfying wins ever

I can't help but wonder just how much easier this challenge would be using the Sarugami armour from Iki. It'd be interesting (maybe only to me) to see a part 2 where you use that armour set and get you're revenge for all the suffering lol.

Haven't gotten a chance to play GoT yet, but this challenge run really makes me want to. Not that I want to subject myself to utter misery, but because the parry and dodge mechanics look fun and challenging with the timing. Great job as always, you really brought Honor back! 😆

This might be too elaborate but can you try this challenge? I’ve named it “honor of the ghost”. So basically you will be switching from strictly using samurai weapons to strictly using ghost tactics. Also whenever you switch you have to switch armor. Switching from the samurai clan armor to the ghost armor. You have to switch after every major encounter. That would make the lighthouse part in Shimura’s castle possible.

Try challenge when You try to scare all (or most of) enemies using perfect parry with charms. You can use Iki Island equipment which if i remeber correctly increases chance of effects happening. I tried this for myself and it looks funny when you just parry 1 mongol and rest of them runs aways ending fight

@@Shenaniloon boss fights ale only exeption where You can kill bc They'll die braver then the others. About the 1 kill per fight im not sure if its gonna be too hard to do. Im gonna try this challenge in just couple of fight later bc its night for me rn and i dont remeber how does it work exactly (i didn't played in some time). My thought was that after parry you wait slow mo to pass, some mongols ran away some not after thst you just parry again until the last guy remains which will be the one you kill. At the moment i dont remeber if they run away after kill or just after parry so its hard for me to set restrictons to the challenge.

Im currently doing a broken armor, all curse run on lethal+. Only charm im using is the carnage charm.

Very true! I had those abilities unlocked from the get go, but it doesn't affect every red attack, just some sword and spear strikes.
