Go back in time with me to 2001 as I attempt to beat the first 3D GTA game without gaining any wanted stars.

The only rules for this playthrough were no committing any crimes that affected stats. Unlike with every other GTA I couldn't use the "stars attained" stat to count how many wanted stars I got so I had to constantly watch my wanted level and anything that affected the on screen wanted level increased the count. Also a note about police bribes: They decreased stars attained in Vice City, but did nothing to stats in San Andreas. Since I'm not even using stats for this that means police bribes won't decrease my total stars attained. Be sure to subscribe if you enjoy challenge videos like this as I've now done most of the main GTA games and plan on doing this for a few more GTA games including for GTA VI when that comes out. Pinned this but forgot to reply here: When playing through I followed a guide that listed “missable” missions and avoided those. Unfortunately I neglected to realize I didn’t need to do all the Donald Love/Ray missions (which aren’t missable afaik) to unlock the final mission. So those two missions are skippable like you said and would lowed my total stars attained level to 12 instead of being 21.

I actually find it interesting that this game has less wanted stars than the rest of the series,also the 8-ball mission is one of the worst nightmares i ever had in this game

You could also cheese this challenge by creating a replay over a bribe star (in a vehicle) so you can clear your wanted stars without actually going around the map to find one, or use the Pay n' Spray, but that would've been a bit too easy You also had a taxi during the Curly Bob mission - if you positioned yourself right, you could be the taxi that he enters, meaning you'd just drive the taxi from Luigi's to the meeting point, which is honestly a cool touch by Rockstar, like they knew some people would try that Either way, I love this series, keep it up! Can't wait for the Stories games to get their own videos soon

The boat mission with no hands is much easier if you grab the conveniently placed drugs that slow time down so you have enough time to kill everyone before he can get himself killed.

6:34 I think this related to framerate, because 3D era GTA was made for 30FPS, and without any mod-fixes this there is a lot problems with physics etc. so always play GTA 3D era with Frame Limiter on

you did two optional missions and get a total of 8 extra stars. last missions of ray and donald love are not actually required

@@konuralpyldzkan1495 oh my god I feel like such an idiot…the page I was using to see which missions were optional didn’t mention those two as optional but to reach the end of the game I only need to finish the Asuka missions to unlock the Catalina mission and it looks like the mission right before the last Donald love mission unlocks Asuka’s last few missions while Ray’s last 2 missions also don’t unlock anything else afaik 🙃. So that would actually be 9 less wanted stars taking out Plaster Blaster (3) and Decoy (6).

@@epiccakesgaming there are unbelieveable amount of optional missions in gta 3. actually, number of optional missions (33 missions) are more than number of required missions (31 missions). you also did optional joey and luigi missions. and if i remember correctly, even asuka's mission two faced tanner is optional, but i need to check it again.

In conclusion, can you beat GTA games without getting wanted level? The answer is: *NEVER!* Unless if you use never wanted cheat, bu that's not counted due to being not valid and illegitimate. So, you will never be able to beat GTA games with no wanted level.

In Van Heist I Uzi the driver side door of the van I didn't get a wanted star and I was able to hijack the Van hidden package uzi FTW when I first did the mission I blew up the van by accident. I did this last week .

All i will say is that you technically could get across all broken bridges without using glitches altho it would take you ungodly amount of hours to do it both ways without dying. But if i remember correctly, going back from 3rd island to 2nd island isnt as difficult as getting from 2nd island to 3rd island. All you need is a fast car and a lot of balls to pull it off.

Bomb Da Base gives you a sniper rifle. To your right is a building with a staircase which you can use as a vantage point for sniping the Cartel members. It's hard to miss that building given how much time you've spent on that mission alone.
