The subtitles took very little effort. The captions that explain what's happening are trickier. I had to write the rough draft of the script ahead of time, plan shots, make sure there is enough time for the captions to appear and stay long enough for people to read. It's a bit more complex than people might realize when they never tried editing something like this.

I think you could beat the bosses using the evasive kick (even if it takes forever) because I saw a video of someone beating the game with no lightsaber and he used force push, pull, slow and the most powerful move….THE EVASIVE KICK

That's what I thought, too. However, once the lightsaber is broken, you can't do any attacks, even the evasive kick. All you can do is use force powers like push and pull.

Unfortuntely not. The evasive kick (and all other combat moves) are disabled when the lightsaber hilt is crushed. All you can do is use force powers like pull, push and freeze. And of course skip the big sections of the game using exploits.

I opened fallen order on my PS4 just to try the "Flying Cal" glitch. The glitch only seems to work when you're within the vicinity of something you can use the force on, such as a rope or an enemy. Still pretty cool nonetheless

14:15 The evasive kick ability deals damage. A minuscule amount of damage, but still damage, so technically you can win that fight and all subsequent fights with Trilla, along with other enemies, but for the non-boss enemies you should use force push.

I don't think it's interesting enough to warrant a separate video. It just changes the parts you can change. The end of the hilt remains broken and that's it.

What's the trick to the flying glitch? I'm trying to get past the double lightsaber on Kashyyyk but can't get it... Do you press both buttons at the same time or one after the other?

You spam them at the same time. It works on PC but it could have been patched on consoles. I haven't tried it.

There are two methods that work on console to this day (2023 at time I comment). They are trickier to pull off. If you search youtube for 3 methods of flying glitch you should find it. Because it's so awkward I only used it once. One of the methods require JGM difficulty to get your block animation stuck with double saber and then spamming doublejumps and slow.

I mean on the broken saber attempt you don't have to fly to get away you can use the kick ability although it would take a long time although I'm not sure because when the game first came out when I went a broke my saber it didn't work

The point is that the split saber special attack is really good at breaking Malicos' posture. Without the upgrade, you can't use it, so the fight is harder.

you can actually do fights and stuff without a lightsaber. there is a video by the youtuber sixtoon where he beat the whole game with out a lightsaber. he got stuck on one part but its actually avoidable.

I'm happy to answer. In Sixtoon's videos, the lightsaber is still intact. He just tried to avoid using it, which means no swings. But in my video, the lightsaber is completely broken. It's literally impossible to ignite it because it has been crushed and I skipped Ilum so I never repaired it. In this state, all combat moves are disabled, even evasive kick. All you can do is use force powers like push, pull and freeze. And to beat the game, you have to do what I did and use speedrunning tricks to skip certain parts like the duel with Trilla. I think it's more interesting that way as well, because most people are not aware of those tricks.
