Rose was the only one I guessed wrong, because that theme feels wrong without the opera background. I guessed Eternatus for that. Flawless otherwise before hints. 28 points for me. Was very fun to watch and see Patterz guessing.

After going through the entirety of hoenn without fly the surf theme is basically imprinted in my brain. The first second of the theme and I just start shouting "GEN 3 SURF" 😂

As a kid, sun and moon were my first games and I still love them to this day, so Hau'oli is imprinted in my brain as the most hard-hitting and nostalgic song ever. Hey, It's a solid song okay?

On like the 2nd note of Goldenrod City I had it. Crystal was my introduction to the mainseries games, I spent so much time in that city that the theme got implanted into my long term memory Edit: I realized if they really wanted to throw people off with Lavender Town, they could've done the calmer rendition of the same song from Gen 2

If I counted correctly, I think I got 23 points. I remember Hau'Oli City's theme because I always did the Loto ID drawing there and got so used to hearing it.

The only ones I missed were Kalos Route 15 (I knew what it was, I just got stuck on the route number), and Rose's battle theme (the iconic choir and chanting doesn't translate well to piano). Everything else I nailed without the hints. ...dude thought Cinnabar Island was the S.S. Anne? I dunno, maybe the theme's just more iconic for me because I really love Missingno., but I'm just astonished at someone getting that so wrong, and with such confidence, too!

I've only played Pokemon White 2 once before my cartridge broke about five-six years ago. As much as I adore Accumula Town's theme, I always accidentally call it Aspertia City. So while I had the right location, I'm taking the 'L' on that one for calling it the wrong name.

My overall score: 14/15 correct. 28 points accumulated. I've guessed almost all but 1. Unfortunately didn't guess song 12, the Chairman Rose battle from Sword/Shield as I've little knowledge of 8th gen. But these piano cover renditions are pretty nice to listen to. 🎧👍🏼 Thx MorePatt.

8:04 ah yes, the theme of seemingly endless Tentacool spawns every other tile. Imagine being Team Aqua, trying to expand the sea when it’s already half of the damn routes in the game. L move. 7.8/10 😉

Yeah the Alder one had me stumped as well especially since you have to wait till the post game to even fight him. The only champion where you have to do that (since N beat him in the main story right before you battle him)

All eight of my points were doubles. I need to go back and find copies of older gen games and play them myself, but I’m proud to have recognized Title, Cynthia, Haoli City Night, and Lavender Town instantly. Also I only missed route 15 by two routes so that’s not too bad!

You do visit slateport first but you cant participate in that contest hall because its higher lvl. The first contest hall you can participate in is verdanturf town. It is a misleading hint as first ever doesnt specify first encounter or first to participate in.

I got Jubilife and Cynthia because of PLA Hoenn surfing was the only one from a game I have played before.
