I actually started with the 64 one and it still has a lot of charm but TTYD is the best hands down.

Sticker Star it has alot of style, the battle mechanics are very good not very repetive. And of course lots of memorable characters. Obviously there is no goofin nor foolin here.

Definitely the original on N64. Having the single best version of Bowser anywhere in it is worth a whole lotta points in my books.

Mine's Super Paper Mario. The gameplay is far less strategic but the story is just majestic. And I don't mind the different playstyle.

I've seen Bringle suffer from the Iron Clefts too. Due to the highly specific strategy for fighting them, they tend to kill a lot of gimmick runs. Or at least serve as an unavoidable outlier.

The action command for power bounce is frame perfect on the 4th hit. Kappy has a tutorial for how to get it right every time.

that 4th power bounce being a 1 frame input is kinda rough. but i get it that move is too good. and the bingo during the shadow queen fight is guaranteed can not mess it up which is nice

I dunno if I've ever done this on this channel before, but I just wanted to take a second to say how much I enjoy your content, and how much I appreciate the work you put into making content. I can't believe how high-quality your videos have become compared to how I remember them being when I first subscribed. Which I think was a while ago. I could check how long that was, but that's irrelevant, and with my memory issues, I have about a 33% chance to actually return to remake/finish this comment, AND I stand by the greater meaning, regardless: the quality of these videos is impressive. Hey if a character has a scan ability that doesn't do damage it's kool imo. tutorial stuff and story restricting stuff like having to use other characters is also cool. Some games are just like that

Fun fact- the 4th power bounce has an oddity where it is frame perfect and then goes back to the scaling decrease. That's why you missed that 4th jump so much, quirky game mechanic

In case anyone doesn't know, you can run from or lose the iron Adonis twins rematch when they barge onto the stage. Your rank is not affected.

But you still have to do their initial fight, which is the bane of many challenge runs, including Mario Alone.

Of course you can. It's actually pretty easy; TTYD can be done without partners, and without Mario taking meaningful actions. The only exception is the Iron Cleft team in the Glitz Pit. Okay, moving on. Just kidding. I'll watch this one for sure.

Great challenge video as always, but it was bugging me, your KZbin avatar makes you look like Jamie Farr (Cpl. Klinger) especially with the cat looking like a fur. Take no offense, I love your videos and MASH was a show I loved watching hinge growing up sp nothing but love and much respect.
