Giovanni really can't get upset or feel let down by Jesse and James, if you think about it tho! Giovanni continues to pay for J&J's salary, travel, lodging, and food, as well as an astronomical amount of payroll spent on the hours worked by the Team Rocket Research and Development department to make all the gizmos and gadgets J&J are always destroying (not to mention the cost of shipping that stuff to wherever J&J happen to be at any given time)! You'd think it "money well spent," if you got good returns from J&J but, over the years, they have not successfully completed even ONE single task assigned by Giovanni! If anyone should feel let down, it's all the other Rocket Grunts performing their duties with only a fraction of the resources J&J get , while getting the same pay, and probably much better results!!

Honestly there is something about Giovanni I really like as a character. I think it might just be that Giovanni a unique kind of character that the others just can't replicate, as well as a unique intimidation factor.

I think it's because he's more realistic, like crime bosses exist in the real world. He's not trying to destroy the world or terraform it, or 'make everything beautiful' or whatever Flare was trying to do, those things are outlandish so they come across as silly. Theft and coercion happen irl, so Giovanni doing those things actually makes him intimidating.

As an Australian, I cringed super hard at that Kangaskhan because shrimp on the barbie is the American idea of what we say. We don’t even call them shrimps, they’re prawns. We’d be more likely to chuck snags (sausages) on the barbie, though the best Australian thing to call a kangaroo would be Skippy, as there was a tv show in the 19...70s? called Skippy the Bush Kangaroo and it was about a kangaroo saving people.

I have a theory for giovanni which is prob not true So what happened was Giovanni wife was running the gym as a flying gym leader but she died/missing so Giovanni had to take her place thats why the earth badge looks like a feather
