Can You Beat Pokemon Shield as Marnie?

Can Marnie from Pokemon Sword & Shield become the champion of the Galar region? What if you, the protagonist didn't exist, and she made her way through to battle Hop and Leon. Also what was her journey through the Galar Region like? What's the deal with Team Yell? @Gianna Martinez Well, yes. But what I mean is, Milo is the first gym. He only has three Pokemon (I know other channels do it with one), with pretty garbage move sets. I would try to do this, but being the idiot I am, I really do think that it would be one of the hardest challenges. Hop has many Pokemon that he put on his team throughout the game, with better move sets and stats, and doesn't only have one Pokemon type to chose from. (I'm re-reading this and its confusing. What I mean is: Milo has trash Pokemon, and doesn't stand a chance against the fire gym unless they can learn water type moves)

It's nice that there was coincidentally a Grimmsnarl raid going on at the time of the challenge, but you can look up where any pokemon can appear in a regular raid den on Serebii. I used it to find a Mr. Rime in about 10 minutes.

0:22 You COULD have just created a New Profile instead of deleting your Save File. Marnie's hair style is now added to the game for Female Trainers who have a Style Card. 1:14 It is locked behind getting the Pokemon Box Link after first getting to the Wild Area. 5:19 You should have had it traded into your game as an Egg. That way your Marnie would have been it's OT. I think that she received it as her Starter Pokemon which makes it have her OT Number. How do I know this? I used HOME to bring my New Save Starter to my Old Save then used EXP Candy to fully evolve it and gave it the proper mints for the Nature I wanted and EV Trained it then used a Gold Bottle Cap to Hyper Train it and transferred it back into it's original file and had zero trouble with it obeying me. I did that in order to advance to the Isle of Armor quickly as well as get more Kubfu then stored it in HOME with the Gift 6IV GMAX Pikachu and Eevee you get at the entrance to the Wild Area and the Wedgehurst Slowpoke and the Starter before deleting that save and creating a new one, rince and repeat multiple times for more Kubfu.

"Spicy Fruit Rollup" LOL It's stated in-game that Kabu is so hard few people make it past him, so maybe that's why there aren't many trainers in the semi-finals. He was the first Gym Leader I really struggled with, despite having Sobble as my starter in Shield and therefore having the type advantage. I think it's because his Centiskorch is the first Gigantamax Pokémon you face in the Gym Challenge. I think I still beat him in one try but I forget how. My usual strategy in gym battles in SwSh though is to save my Dynamax turns for when the leader brings out their own Dynamax Pokémon, and then let them Dynamax first. This means they will run out of Dynamax moves before me, allowing me to take them out in a weaker state. Fairy is weak to Poison, so that's a possible strategy there. Lots of Pokémon can learn Toxic via TM. I totally took the Dark-type approach to Bede too. You can catch a Dark-type pretty early in Nickit. (Or Purrloin). I learned from Moon with Alolan Meowth/Persian the value of having a good Dark-type. Also, I agree, Power Trip isn't the *greatest* move. There are better ones. I was super into Morpeko when it was revealed, but I ended up using Yamper as my Electric type team member instead. It's available earlier, and it learns more Electric moves.

So I tried this run in sword and you were correct, bea was hard, I somehow defeated her hitmontop with some luck with a critical hit by dynamaxing my morpeko at the start, her pangoro took away more then half my health with one hit and my next attack did nothing, her pangoro beat me so then I used toxicroak and it somehow survived a hit on 32 hp I then poisoned it and eventually killed it, her sirfech’d killed toxicroak and put scraggy in the red so then I used brick break and by some miracle got in the red but then scraggy died, my liepard killed sirfetch’d and then came her machamp, that took me more then 15 tries but I did it I’m never doing that again

As soon as you unlock the Wild Area you can go to the Isle of Armor and after literally the * first*Rival fight, you get the style card which allows you to get Marnie’s hair and clothes even before you finish the main game so yeah.
