You literally can’t not catch the x y box art legends btw. They have an extremely high catch rate and even if you have no pokeballs some magically appear in your inventory just so you can catch it. And if you knock it out you get to try again immediately.

Ethan Swartz that’s for the Pokémon you can actually go back to the encounter area.X y you literally can’t go back to the area you catch the box legendary cuz it’s blown up so they force you to catch it then so you can always have it.

-Go for the battle without any pokeballs -Get some pokeballs to catch it -Defeat him -Go to the pokecenter -Deposit the pokeballs into the PC -Repeat Result: infinite pokeballs and/or infinite money (STONKS SUCCESS)

Korrina's only move to even hit ghost types is Rock Tomb on Machoke; Hawlucha doesn't even have a flying type move. That's why her fight was so easy with Golett, since Rock Tomb would have done negligible damage even without the Iron Defenses.

This was a really interesting run. Wide variety of useful Pokemon. You picked a great game to do it in with, and I'm sure you noticed, the insanely high level curve of X and Y. It's bonkers how high their levels get so fast. Very nice! Also I'm pretty sure Valerie is not human.

The reason why Korrina's AI is so weird is that her Meinfoo and Hawlucha just can't hit Ghosts, and her Machoke only has Rock Tomb to hit them, so her AI is trying to get a 1 hit KO using Leer.

Makes sense, I didn't really look at movesets for that many fights since I wanted to try to make it as difficult as possible.

@@ChaoticMeatballTV Yeah. X and Y move sets are terrible in general. Don't know why they kept using Quick Attack though. That makes no sense from what I know of the AI (The things I know is that AI likes to preserve PP if any move will KO, and will use the weakest move against the target to KO, and that the AI will usually only switch if they can't damage, but some trainers won't. The AI also wants to go for 1 hit KOs, and will use defensive/offensive modifiers first to do so).

There's maybe two Pokemon in the entire Gym that can even touch Ghost-types. Movesets and team compositions in this game are wack

Also yea, I love X and Y, it's tied with Black and White as my favourite, but the pacing is really off and they ignored a lot of chances to deepen the story since it feels like very little happens before Lysandre trys to kill the entire region. Also the gym leaders are definately a drop in skill and power, did you know that Korrina's Hawlucha doesn't even know 4 moves?
