I'd have to say that B/W2 are my favourite pokemon games of all time, and my absolute favourite stretch of any region is the coastal section of the eastern peninsula, basically the whole undella-lentimas-village bridge-pokemon league part, it just screams summer and I love undella, as well as the marine tube

You can Thief the Metal Coat off of wild Magnemite in Virbank Complex so you actually could have gotten Steelix before Burgh. It's only a 5% chance that they hold it, however that's still a faster grind than every other grind you did in this video. EDIT: Sorry I forgot trading wasn't allowed bc it's one single game.

I really love the rustling grass mechanic in these games, it can allow you to do a sort of psuedo professor oak's challenge where you try to complete as much of the dex as possible by catching all of the evolved forms of pokemon from the rustling grass :) places like the lostlorn forest have so many different obtainable pokemon outside of audino it can make for some rewarding catches

I think Black 2 would actually be much harder for this challenge -- you get dratini for beating the postgame dungeon crawler in W2, but you can catch that elsewhere, but in B2 you have to do the whole think to get access to gible.

They also caught Pokerus in the first section. If you were wondering, no this luck did not continue into the rest of the game. I’m now well into the postgame and I have not encountered a single shiny since my three at floccessy ranch

God I feel you with the hidden grottoes. And I also thought of doing funfest missions only to find out that 1. You have to raise to a ridiculous level 2. That level is only achievable by connecting with a different game and 3. The hidden grotto mission is only available after you beat the champion

when you mentioned litwick with memento, i became confused, as i had never had any issues catching litwick ever. turns out that litwick learns memento at level 33, the highest level you can catch it at celestial tower. so by trying to be as efficient as possible, you found a problem i didnt know even exists. i know this is not important, but i found this funny

You should do a Professor Oak's Challenge on Pokemon Storm Silver or Sacred Gold where the goal is to actually catch every pokemon with Arceus being the ultimate catch.

My best experience with the gen 5 games was definitely me getting my first shiny, which was a shiny growlithe back when I was about 9 or 10 years old. It was insane. My favourite area has to be the Strange House east of Lentimas Town. I feel like that place was definitely a missed opportunity for a Darkrai event with that whole house having Darkrai in its backstory but it still remains my favourite area

Mystery dungeon would be incredibly hard considering that you can also get recruits as rewards for jobs. As well as the sheer amount of time it would take having only a small chance to have to recruit Pokémon. Also the amount of times you would have to go back into the dungeons

You actually didn't need to use your Master Ball! You could have used Unfezant from section 1 because it can learn Taunt via level-up! Taunt's TM is pretty late-game, so a Pokémon like Zangoose or Darmanitan could have helped you! But I think the best choice is Unfezant, as it's the fastest!

I found like 3 shinies in the first section of x and y. Scared me to death since I was running out of pokeballs. It was a shiny riolu, azurill and something else. I can't remember what it was right now. I also managed to find a second shiny riolu but accidentally ran away from it. I have been getting really lucky with the shinies for that run. White 2 and black 2 were the second two pokemon games I ever owned. First two were black and white. Oshawott was my favorite but snivy really grew on me

Well the Electrizer OR Magmarizer is available in B2 W2 but they’re version exclusive (corresponding to the pokemon available in your game), trade evolutions anyway, and they’re available on the plasma frigate... post 7th or 8th gym.

My favorite memory of Black 2 was attempting a POC. I got a crapton of new games and some new amps and stuff, so I forgot about it. I made it to Virbank City, though I didn't catch anything in the complex there.
