Found bucket, stole a wooden sword, stole the broom from an elderly woman, and walked the thlusand steps up the mountain. Yep, reminds me of playing morrowind in a way, though skyrim is a million times smaller than vardenfell. Still it can get tedious having to go way out of your way to get somewhere like when you have to do that dark brotherhood contract to kill the wandering trader. That shit sucks if he's all the way in solitude. Cant fast travel with carriages because he'll just move locations before you get there most likely.

Since he was using AE, he could have made campfires for warmth. You make them at any forge with firewood and shit. You build them almost anywhere with the only issue being that it has decent weight but that usually not a problem. I always build a campfire atop TotW for when I have to deal with paarthurnax or alduin.

I think it would be cool to do something like a no healing run where every bit of damage you take and every debuff that’s inflicted is permanent but for Fallout. So if you have to fight The Legate with four broken limbs and 1 hp then that’s what you gotta do. No reloads to take less damage. Then if you die it’s start from scratch

There actually is a fast travel glitch in survival mode. If you open up the map immediately after using the carriage it grants a small window in which you can use fast travel. It sometimes even works immediately after changing instances.
