I think for this run since it was only my 2nd playthrough, a lot of my pain was from not knowing how to fight the bosses (queen gibdo and dazzlefruit smh)

Great video! I think using a dragon parts instead of sapphire/topaz would have been better since they trigger while attacking with the shield.

If you check the VOD (I left out this part from the video), I actually tried that out with a ice lizalfos horn and honestly I preferred the sapphire since I can consistently be defended and ice them. Also thanks for watching!

About the final hit with the Master Sword, you could've dropped a shield and fused it in the sword's blade, technically the shield did the final attack and the sword only helped manouvering

I think you were being too restrictive on yourself. Even Naofumi from Rising of the Shield Hero stocked up on items and relied on a team. I would have gone for more hearts, farmed anti gloom stuff and have the sages. But good run! It inspires me to try this out too

Fun fact if you time it correctly you can explode a bomb fruit meanwhile parrying with an attack shield and go into quick menu and drop the bomb

A good idea would have been to fuse the gloom clubs from defeated phantom ganons to your shields, since the are 50 dmg instead of 44 from the lynel horn, though it might have to happen mid fight so that might be hard

It has 800 durability so it lasts for a super long time. Ganons gloom projectiles do a TON of durability dmg tho and destroy any shield in it's path basically

Just came up with a challenge. I would not reccomend it. So basically, you just sell all your heart containers to the demon statue. Then progress through the entire campaign with just 1 heart.
