but if one game game is tinted blue and the other tinted red, they are both tinted red/blue because they layered on top of each other. for example, a spike in level 1 would be red but it would have the blue shade of level 2 on top of it, whereas a spike in level 2 would be a transparent blue but blending with red from level 1. it would still be a fairly incoherent mess of colours and shades

This would have already been difficult enough as is just playing two games at once, and even worse on keyboard. But the fact that he plays with delay and the setup doesnt allow simultaneous use of two buttons at once makes it a nightmare. Not being able to run and jump at the same time is a significant challenge even for very experienced players and MANY levels are literally impossible no matter what you do (see simleflips' walkies series).
