@squidsleap3 жыл бұрын
With wheel prices going up so much dealers should take trades and resell them. I would take less money than a private sale to trade up into a new wheel, and I’d also pay a little more for used wheel that was gone through, and carried even a 90 day warranty from a place like ewheels. This way 5k to 6k for a wheel is easier to take if you have a wheel trade in. At those prices we’d better see motors built to wheel size (no spokes) and all weather dependability.

I agree, I don't know about the abrams being a bigger success then the Rock....Sherman though..43 million americans out of work, 53 million being denied new credit and loans, the government another Billion dollars in debt to Afghanistan....Which will eventually filter down past the Rich to the middle class and poor to pay threw new regulations, policy's and taxation not to mention a looming recession.....I would stick with what works and produce and sell limited batches and see how the sales figures do for the year before going full throttle with only the new series...The Veteran Sherman although a rock stable roadable Ewheel can be somewhat intimidating and difficult to manhandle until both the rider and his chariot are fully broken in some. What will an additional few inches do for the overall handling and overall weight? Reviews wait to be seen In the face of a larger wheel and its even larger price tag.

@Wheel_fast_euc_rider3 жыл бұрын
I’d be beyond happy with a 60+ mph wheel with suspension… UNLESS the diameter of that tire makes the ride similarly smooth. Sherman was my first wheel, followed quickly by the s18…my Sherman has 4x the miles on it… the rush of speed and available power is more fun and overall exciting compared to jumping around slowly on the s18. BUT….to COMBINE both speed and silky smooth ride would be AMAZING… just need to be looking that much further ahead when riding..

You do make a good point...I was one of those whom purchased from the last batch dispite the price...The accessories for it amount to even more, easily surpassing the price of the sherman,...helmet, safety gear, Lazyrolling ( which didnt protect my ribs from the speeding projectile when I was thrown off and in front of it thanks to a sunken sewar top and my fiddeling with my cellphone to contol my accessories, I did not get runned over by traffic though in my 3rd attempt🙄-Got the twisties😂)... all that alone puts you near the mark, add in pads,peddels, speed seat, horns, lights and whistels etc and well....eye opening reality rather then purchase another wheel or a newer model version I purchased more accessories to change the wheel I have. If I want a red veteran? I have one...Blue..I have one Black....with black spiked peddels...or silver or no spike peddels....You get the idea. I could have bought a brand new 2021 Ram truck with Airbags, Capable of carrying my whole family, grocery's and construction materials from Home depot...( Thats actually what I did next after doing all the initial math.) In the end People want what they want what the tipping point actually is depends on your personal finances and what you can actually afford to spend. But for a One wheeled Electric Unicycle there must certinly be a limit.... Torque?, Distance? Endurance? or Suspension? at some point taking Performance and all these factors above as well as Research and Development into consideration...Do the math before putting down your spend able earnings. Not far at all I guess. So personally I'm not sure if that's the territory EUCs should go at all, generally, any brand. Especially without suspension to catch you up on the next big pothole.

Sorry. For all you raved about the Abrams its just going to be a fast wheel with short range. Youre lucky to get 45 miles off an EXN if you ride at high speed. So the Abrams with a bigger wheel and higher voltage is going to run considerably less miles at 2700wh battery. Probably more in the 30-35 mile range. No matter how much you love a wheel having to recharge at 35miles will equal about an hour of riding. Not worth it in my opinion. Like going on a hot date and just a peck on the cheek and its over!! I'll stick with the MPro for now and for small wheel speed the EXN. When are these companies going to really take that big step and give us a high speed, long range, suspension wheel. Per specs at the preorder site: a 62 mph no load speed? That is basically the same as the Sherman or the EX.N, and less than the monster Pro. That is disappointing, I thought this would be a 117v 65mph top road speed wheel. If anything is going to be the wheel of the year, it will be the Kingsong S20. A 40mph 127v suspension wheel from Kingsong, the makers of the best suspension wheel on the planet, the S18? The Abrams initially looked exciting, but now it looks kind of lame in comparison. @Cynthia May High speed racing for pink slips where the loser forfeits ownership of his wheel to the winner. Side by side in very close proximity to each other. In the confines of a fully enclosed, narrow, single lane tunnel. Rock hard bluestone/concrete walls on both sides. Random spectators, camera operators, bikes, fencing, barriers, objects etc, along the side of the route. Crashing, sliding, tumbling is survivable with protective gear, gradual deceleration, energy dissipation. Not so much when hitting bluestone/concrete walls. Designed, planned, purpose built race tracks have plenty of run off space all around. Barriers to collide with are avoided unless absolutely necessary such as in a street circuit. Loss of control, hitting the wall, then potentially bouncing/ricocheting directly into or into the path of the other rider. Princess Diana might have survived had the high speed car crash not occurred inside a walled tunnel. That EVX video is probably not really a good idea.
