Kind of embarrassing. That said, I wish it were how I said it because I like that spelling. Still, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Sassy is a synonym for forward because forward has multiple meanings. Sure, it means the direction directly in front of the subject, but it also means to be bold with another person, almost overly so. So, while sassy doesn't necessarily mean bold, or being forward, you can often be forward by being sassy. But I do agree with Doug, you should pick a synonym that means the same as the meaning of forward that means the direction in front of you.
