Thanks..but you started saying 22 yrs of age starting with 8-9 lacs salary.. how many guys in India starts as freshers with this salary? This is far from reality as all are not IIT/IIM passouts as FRESHERS .. theory is fine but reality is different..

Still, all things given I think even a fresher from a good college earning starting salary of 25k plus can invest about 8k or can gradually go up to that
@subhendumukherjee14044 жыл бұрын
@@rejikrejik ya that would be a more logical call bcz the people getting 8-9 lakhs call can easily give their funds to professional managers or pms to handle.

Assume you start with 7500 per month at the age of 25 and do it for next 30 years, and do a step up of 10% it would be close to 6.5 crores,
@Jyyo2 жыл бұрын
Alternatively if you start at the age of 22 and invest till retirement age of 58 with 10% increment every year, with I initial amount of 4000 inr, it would add up to about 7.5 crores, also add your PF over these years it would cross 1.5 to 2.5 crores. Bottom line it is easily possible 😀

Subraji is right, and this video makes us to realize the power of Investment and power of Compounding. It just requires one to believe, little bit of dedication and determination that we can create ourselves the wealth that might even surprise us. In his videos he shares his wisdom of great values without exaggeration to all of us, and there is a pure math behind this. If an average salaried person could start investing SIP of rs10,000 per month in average performing mutual funds and in quality stocks, and step up SIP of 10% every year, and manage to get return of 12% per anum, he can still make rs13.21 crores corpus in span of 35 years. So if a person of 22 years of age remain invested 35 years till 57 years, he can make easily Rs10 Crores. Even if he stops contributing post that and are able to remain invested for another 3 years till 60, it could grow to rs18.21 crores with the same return rate. Even if the investment performs bad due to many reasons, he can create atleast rs7 to rs8 crores in his lifetime if not rs10 crores. This amount could vary of course depending upon the asset we chose, our portfolio mix, rate of return due to market performance, rebalancing our portfolio, amount we invest and the time we remain invested. Biggest problem is that people delay their investment, or invest in wrong asset class, imbalance portfolio mix, does not believe on compounding and keep switching from one to another, or does not invest at all due to lack of financial knowledge. Another major reason for someone not able to create such wealth is due to lack of patience. People also get greedy and starts investing in risky stocks that either gets delisted or performs negative over the time. Long term investment create more wealth for most of the people, and not trading as an amateur. Timing the market is irrelevant for the long term investors, also quality of stocks wins over price of stocks. Exception would be for the people who gets lower salary and they may not be able to make more than a crore in their entire life. Some of the of people from this group with higher salary who can invest with SIP of Rs 2k to 5k per month, step up or not step up regularly but remain invested for a long time for around 30 years or more, they can easily get comfortable corpus of Rs 70 laksh to Rs 2.5 crores for retirement depending on the amount they invest, portfolio mix and the time they remain invested.

Yes 12% pa return is quite conservative, provided we chose quality stocks, more than 50% of our investment in equities, and keep investing irrespective of market condition. If we chose quality stocks they can give 15% to 18% cagr mostly, and lesser return during bear market.

Thank you sir. Is it a good idea to invest in both individual stocks and mutual funds? I enjoy researching stocks and trying to find value stocks with proper fundamental analysis. Does investing in direct stocks and mutual funds just duplicate efforts and reduce returns over a long time?
@thomasdude20822 жыл бұрын
It will be diversifying your investment, your stock picks will be on higher risk. Mutual fund will be manage by professionals for higher fee. Also some mutual fund will enable you to reduce TAX irrespective of gains.

In general when a person joins IT company like TCS, CTS, wipro will get only 3.2 lakhs per annum when they start. If the person stays in the same company even after 10 years, the salary will be only around 11 to 12 lakhs per annum. You are assuming people start with 7-8 lakhs per annum which is probably a very very small percentage

It's ok to join such mass scale employers which offer low CTC. But staying there for 10 yrs...., That's a crime dude.

Whether I will have a 10Cr portfolio or not, we'll see in next 10-15 years, but certainly possible. It can be done. But Subra doesn't owe you 10Cr because you started in TCS instead of Microsoft.

10 crores..even if I sell myself(of course no one would even buy me for that matter) I can't earn 8-9 lakhs or think about amassing 10 crores. Let's be more realistic. Why not have a video on someone who is earning around say 30000 to 50000 as a starting point or even less for that matter

Great talks in simple terms. A request from my end. There are people who are earning 15k-25k per month and housewives who get 5 k from their husbands which they can save. Can you please upload a video where if people can save 5k per month and how to invest it so that at the age of 60, if not crorepati they should be able to pay all hospital bills? And if they can start at an age of 30 how to proceed further ..
