Running at the speed of sound turns out to be quite deadly. In this challenge run I attempt to get from one side of Grand Theft Auto 5's San Andreas map without dying and doing so in under 5 minutes.

The second camera angle is not permanent. It is from my phone and only exists because I needed it for another challenge I did. I figured I may as well use it for this challenge as well as I already had it set up. The only thing that really prevents me having it permanently is that I would suddenly have twice the files for much of my stuff and there is already A LOT of files to manage ha.

Hey Matt, the fall damage isn't inconsistent for launches, if you give the height you lift from a value of Y, any height ≥Y will give you normal fall damage. Any slightly below your starting altitude will act as a normal fall, but any substantial declines from initial launch point will screw you over. So when you launched off the mountain and expected to live around the 11:02 it is a result of the fact you launched from significantly higher up than you landed Additionally, you could have combined the Chilliad idea you discussed with the parachute you had, you could have launched off Chilliad and then when you would die upon landing, instead, use a parachute, cut it and faceplant into the water like you mentioned in an old facts and glitches

soo if u start at +40 and fall down to +20 you get -20? but if launched from +40 to +60 and land at +30 get only -10 ? that would be one reason why there is literally no fall damage when getting knocked of a motorcycle

Basically, if you stand on the ramped part of the vertical road stunt jumps outside LSIA, where your character is on a diagonal surface. Get a friend to reverse up to you in a scramjet/coil voltic/ vigilante and have them boost. Your character will fly up into the sky and then take minimal damage upon falling because despite the altitude you gain, there is very little difference between your starting height and your end height

The quality of the editing has been continuously improving. Each video feels whole, if that makes sense, from the micro transitions to including relevant chats from the live stream. All of these videos are even more enjoyable to watch and are dynamic in the editing. Also, the second camera angle is pretty lovely! It’s a subtle way to break any perceived monotony, though the OG camera isn’t dull. But, as you said, that’s a lot of videos to go through. Kudos, Matto + editor

Hey Matto, great video as usual. Hope you keep up with these challenge videos, they're super entertaining. Something I've noticed about the fall damage in GTA V (not 100% sure about it, but from what I've seen it seems so) is that it's calculated based on the y coordinate that you took the air from, so in theory if you land somewhere higher than where you jumped/launched from, you don't take much if any fall damage. You probably know this but just thought I'd mention it just in case! Keep up the good work!
