I've tried going off my meds unsuccessfully. The paranoia and delusions come back. I think I'll stay on my medication rather than try without.

Sir jesus loves I also have schizophrenia and inderstand how it feels. I myself had to go off the meds because i would sleep so much and eat and gained alot and felt like somewhat slower thinking likee a confusion somewhat while on them. I felt for myself i had no choice but to stop meds completly I had even slept walked while on abilify and that was a terror for me It took a while for my brain to recover from being on those meds that long but im not having those symptyms anymore even though i still have schizophtenia also i lost 20 pounds from not doing anything no dieting or exersice once i stopped meds. I am in no way recomending anyone to go off of them im just saying that was for myself what i learened what worked best for me . God is the answer for the peace and joy and directing our footsteps . I have schizophrenia too and my Geodon and Seroquel keep me stable. Without them, I would be in a mixed episode with hallucinations. I definitely function better with my meds. Keep taking your clozapine. That’s my two cents.

My son found out he must remain on his meds. He works, but his energy is greatly reduced due to meds but is able to live a life.

I took seroquel retard for 2 months. I could sleep 24 hours a day. I felt like a zombie. And I was hungry all the time. I reduced it and am taking cbd oil now. But I would take meds if I will be in psychosis. THANK you, the best message is: Do ask for help.
