I've heard the best way to escape is to lay low and only go on like 3 or 4 podcasts a week max.

Yeah if he was in any danger he would be lying low. I suspect the lack of power the mafia have has meant he’s able to come out and talk

becoming a public figure makes the stakes a lot higher for ordering a hit on him. I think he's smart in what he's doing. if he got hit there would be a lot more questions now compared to if he led a quiet life

These 2 host's obviously made Michael Franzese feel very relaxed.. they're very likeable. Some good laugh's.😊😊 Yes,when some people love, they Will endure extremities for them. Michael is blessed to still have his family after all these rollercoaster's of his life. He also made sure he did the right thing by them in the end. He chose "his" family.👌

What people don’t realize is that the women, the wives, the daughters, the sisters are the ones that are really strong in those situations. Because you are in prison doesn’t only affect you. You are locked up and can’t really do anything. They are the ones putting money on your books, raising your kids, being mom and dad at the same time. You can only do so much. Yes you can call everyday and talk to your kids and try to be a father, husband but it’s not the same thing. Over those 8-10 years your kids are growing up without you. Your daughter was 7-8 years old when you went in and when you get out she is in college, driving a car, dating. The world has changed and everyone grew up without you. I have friends who went to prison for 5,8,12 years and it’s a difficult thing to deal with when you get out. I give the woman a lot of credit because they are the ones who keep the family and marriage together. Also not many women can wait for 8 years. Most women who have husbands in prison for more than a couple years don’t make it. The relationship just doesn’t last. Then the men get angry at the women but it’s like really? You can’t expect them to put their lives on hold for you. You put yourself in prison, they didn’t. You can’t be upset with them leaving.

These presenters arent the usual "style" of presenters usually interviewing Michael Franchese shall we say. I've never seen such serious topic's laughed at before from the interviewer's. I don't think a couple of middle class, giggly, wet behind the ears guys were a great match for an interview with a mafia boss but they were hilarious interviewing Carlton Cole!
