Can you grow a Cypress tree from a cuttings

@@Ulinks Placing conifers in just water with fertilizer won’t promote root growth, it will probably deprive the plant of oxygen. Proper soil is required for rooting conifers. (not 100% sure if this is correct)

I root all my Conifer’s in water....I have 500+ plant... it’s a kind of secret for the plant makers of the world .... there is a technique to it.... using creeks and stream beds
