Could you do a video on troubleshooting resin problems for beginners? As well as the differences of resins, how they cure and the end results?

Fascinating. I love your videos. Only discovered you a couple weeks ago and have literally been binging. 🤩 I'm trying to figure out how in the world you clean out your pipettes of resin. I have a hard enough time cleaning paint out of them. How do you clean them??? Thank you so much for all you do.😍😍😍

I imagine thos works because of the weight difference between the two. Therefore when you dropped the final coat of it around the outside edge it dropped towards the bottom and pushed everything to the center. I would try dripping it as you did with the colors.

Glad to see a video that is over the KZbin golden 10min, I’m sure others would agree that you should turn on ads so people like me who cannot afford to financially support can still contribute for your work through ad revenue

I think there all quite beautifully done Steve, I have some resin coming in from Amazon, not sure exactly when but I'm excited to get started ❣

Thank you, I now know if I do not want the inks to be moved into the centre when topping up, I need to let it set more. Hence, make the resin in two lots. I have been told not to us inks because the colour do not last, is this true and is there a way around this. Can you do one where you do photo - I know you need to have the photo protected from the resin. But would like to see one done.

Great hints, love the results. Do you have to throw away your pipettes after each use Steve? Or are you able to clean and refuse them? Also your resin is really nice, so clear.

I was wondering if you could use a hair dryer on low to help with the bubbles. I also wanted to say thank you for the videos. It has helped me be more confident in starting this new adventure.

Nope. Too much air, not enough heat. That's just going to make a big mess. A long neck lighter or mini torch style lighter is best for small, jewelry sized molds. For large molds like coaster to tray sized I'd recommend a heat gun.
@jenniferfitch96713 жыл бұрын
In one of your videos you asked if anyone had any ideas for future videos to leave them in the comments. Well not long after I turned You Tube off I thought of one and Idk which video ya asked that in so, I was thinking it'd be cool if you did a tray pour. Like most do a beach/ocean, but if or when I learn how to do it I want to do a pink or rose gold geode tray. 😍

Is polyurethane resin the same as polyester resin?
@Draconus193 жыл бұрын
The PU resin you link for the US cures in 20 min do you have a link for one with the hour cure time like yours
@markduggan34513 жыл бұрын
It was interesting that the PU resin moved to the centre, I wonder if it would have moved to the outside if you had driped the clear in the centre? Nice patterns.

I love these! I got some pu resin, oh boy it does cure really fast, so it's definitely gonna take a minute for me to do things like this 😁

These are so pretty.... I must do something like this soon. I have an 8 hour cure and a 24 hour cure resin, any tips you may have on combining them would be helpful. The 24 hour resin has about a 5 minute working time and the other has about 30 minutes to work with. Still loving your videos..... Ringy-dingy ringy-dingy🔔🔔🦋🦋

Hi. Have you ever tried using puff paint in the resin? Thanks
@craftydemon5293 жыл бұрын
I love these! Unfortunately the only fast cure resin I have is 15 minute resin and the color also lightens alot. And the working time is 2 or 3 minutes at most 😅 Though you could probably get a similar effect if you mix two batches of epoxy resin and let one batch sit a little while before making the other
