By the way, the Dogfree subreddit isn't completely monsters. I'm not a member, but browsed the sub and agree with a lot of their points. I personally like dogs and have one, but dislike a lot of entitled, rude dog owners and people taking their dogs everywhere when they can't behave themselves. I spent countless hours researching and training my dog to listen to me, not jump, and acclimated her to being around children/cats as a puppy (though she was ten months old and that made it more difficult, but I still did it). People bring their overexcited and/or aggressive dogs to spaces where they're not supposed to be and make things difficult for those with real service dogs. Also, I've stopped taking my dog to the dog park because of people bringing aggressive dogs. A husky attacked my sister's dog without any provocation and we had to take him to the emergency vet. The owners blamed us for my sister's dog being off-leash, despite THEIR husky being off-leash and it's an enclosed space for dogs to run around and off-leash is permitted for well-behaved dogs. Somehow only their dog gets the privilege. Not to mention that their dog approached my sister's while he was playing with a toy and she attacked him. He didn't even fight back. Thank god he was around the husky's size or it could've been really bad. He just needed stitches in his ear. But TL;DR dog owners have really gotten so much worse over the past few years. It's crazy.

I like dogs and all animals, but imma play devil's advocate and say dogs are animals and all animals can do things that are annoying and gross, it's normal. Sometimes it can be upsetting and that's ok. I don't blame the dog, I blame the owner sometimes when it's something that's disruptive and the owner could do something about it. For example I had an awful experience with dogs that would bark all fucking day and I was going insane. The owners didn't give a shit. And it was several dogs in several different apartments around my building. So anyway, I'm guessing the subreddit is to vent about some of these situations. Also some dogs are just super aggressive and annoying. So, I get it.
