The first time I watched this I had the same reaction. To both a pregnancy test being accurate within mere days and to a doctor being able to tell who the father is! The fact that a cis man is pregnant just feels like weird fanfic stuff, but since pregnancy tests are actual science it’s easy to get hung up on that being so so so very wrong!

It hits every fanfic trope possible: the bad grammar and punctuation, the nonsensical typos, the self-insert, the action scene that just resolves on its own, the repeated crying, the breakup drama and immediate resolution, the seduction by the villain (x2), the suicide attempt, the immediate engagement before they even go on a date, the m-preg. It is almost too accurate to be parody, but I have to believe it is parody just from the phrase "suicide hospital" alone. Brilliant.
