I need to apologise to you, because in an earlier video,I stupidly asked you to stop huffing and puffing, when things went against you when travelling. Obviously,I hadn't realised that you were working through a few things, and I had no right to say that to you. Thank you for being so brave as to mention this in this video, and it is *me* who needs to learn to think before I profer my opinions. All the best.

Cool views of the cockpit instrumentation. They've come a long way from the rows of analog dials. Interior looks comfy, but it seems a bit odd that some seats face rearward. For all of the people who complain about Amtrak not being "profitable", how many of them realize that the Federal Government subsidizes these isolated EAS routes up to $200 per passenger (more in certain exceptional instances)?

Truth or Consequences, NM was originally named Hot Springs, NM. In fact, the local high school is still named Hot Springs HS. The popular game show "Truth or Consequences" held a contest where they would air the show from the first town to change their name to "Truth or Consequences" Hot Springs officially changed its name on March 31, 1950, and the program was broadcast from there the following evening.

Once again Noel you’ve entertained me with a very interesting flight. I'm sure that travelling as often and as far as you do you must miss your wife and children, and they of course you, but you have entertained and informed me and thousands more with your videos, particularly during these strange Covid times. Thank you and please keep the videos coming on both of your channels. I flew for the first time last weekend in four years. This between Jersey and Heathrow. I experienced Terminal Five. I had plenty of time to appreciate this amazing building as it took me two hours to get from being dropped off to get through check in and security. If that nightmare is what you have to put yourself through on a regular basis then you not only deserve your immense subscriber numbers but also a medal !!! Thanks once again and if you ever fly to Jersey Let me know as I'd love to show you my Island.

I worked for an airline that flew EAS flights in Montana, North Dakota & Minnesota. Some of our stations were small. You would walk out of the airport onto the small picketed fence grassy area then through the picket fence onto the tarmac. The station manager, ticket agent, person loading the freight, luggage and passengers was also the same person. Did I Mention that the all those people also ran the weather station and did weather observations. We were a full service airline.😁

Hi Noel, Now that Australia's opened up, here's a few unique flights you can do! Regional Express (Rex) - Sydney to Canberra on a Saab 340. Less than an hour, and on a prop with a snack and drink service, served with a smile. And yes, you can agonize over tea or coffee, or have water. Link Airways (Link) - Sydney to Newcastle (Williamtown) on a Jetstream 32. Newcastle Williamtown is the busiest airport that shares space with the Royal Australian Air Force. Merimbula Air Services - Merimbula to Gabo Island. Home to Australia's second tallest lighthouse. Not commercial, but a brilliant day. And they serve a gourmet lunch as per the fare. Sydney Seaplanes - Sydney (Rose Bay) returning. The old world glamour of Rose Bay, accompanied by stellar views of Sydney from above. Expensive for a scenic flight, but the view alone is worth it. Jetride - Hunter Valley, NSW. Admit it - When you watched Top Gun, you always wondered what aerobatics in a fighter is like. And as for trains, I can't say for the luxury ones but the NSW Trainlink Xplorer from Canberra to Sydney is pleasant. Bring books and cash, as mobile isn't there all the way along the line and so paying for things like beer and a hot meal on card may not work all the time! And the train from Newcastle Interchange to Sydney Central is public, scenic and cheap (A$8, from memory. But don't forget your Opal card.) - hell, you can even have a proper fish and chips in Brooklyn with a river view - Brooklyn, NSW that is! Cheers and thanks for the great vid, like always! Vintttyluka

Another great EAS video Noel. Been following you off and on for a while, but saw your In The Hangar episode and finally decided to subscribe. Glad I did. Got caught up on your last year or so of flying and now watching them as they release (more or less). One little note here - N575RD is not a King Air 350iER. I'm not sure why there's a couple sites listing it as such, but the 350iER is only available as a new-build aircraft from Textron and not as a retrofit or mod package. Additionally, the ER was only recently made available to non-military operators as the whole point of the aircraft was for "Special Missions". 575RD was built in 2000, but was upgraded with a Garmin G3000 suite and a new interior semi-recently. Also, the "i" models use a Rockwell/Collins ProLine avionics package, not Garmin, which is a telling feature of if you're in an "i" or just a 350 with an upgraded flight deck. I know it's kinda semantics to many, but I think learning about the differences between various similar airplanes is important because too often we get "pulled in" by marketing and end up confusing things more than we fix. In Beechcraft/Textron's case, they're pretty stingy/clear with their classifications and historically have gotten upset when people start putting marketing branding on their aircraft models that creates confusion. Blackhawk found out about this not too long ago with their modifications and have had a hard time getting approval to put their own name on the airplanes without creating a whole new Type Certificate.

Noel I watched with interest " can you really fly on a private jet for $ 250.00 ? " I think your title for the video should have been " can you really fly on a private turbine aircraft for $ 250.00 ) as the King Air is not a jet and not even close. Good video, but at least clarify your video as in this country a jet is quite different than a turbine prop plane.
