Can You Run A 2 Stroke Motorized Bicycle On E85? - People That Say No, Myth Busted! (YD100 )

Some guy told me you can't run a 2 stroke on E85! No way it works it would never run and it's a stupid idea!
THAT IS EXACTLY ALL I NEEDED TO HEAR!
With that note! I give you the YD100 Running on E85 40:1 oil mix! How I did it easy! No I have all Ceramic Bearings! There is no worries of them rusting. The rings are not a big deal they should be fine, I know the rambling blabber about it! Seen it all over time!
So since I just rebuilt This YD100! I think E85 will be the new fuel it runs on for the duration of it's life! Lets see if E85 really does all the BS people say it will to a 2 stroke!

Just a little tip. Alcohol does not evaporate below 70F and does not burn properly in the cold weather. For best results run that fuel on the hottest of days. It will keep your engine cooler too.

Once I was in trouble as i had to use my bike urgently but had no gas and i just dumped some rubbing alcohol and a sh*t ton of oil (like 10%) into the tank haha, it got me 3 miles to a gas station. Sucks that i had to rebuild the carb because it got clogged with what looked like sugar

In Portugal we run with 95 normal or 95 additive or 98, personally I use 95 A , sometimes 98 but I feel that engine performs better with 95 at mid rpm

Estes motores têm muito baixa compressão e não beneficiam de mais octanagem, aliás, até beneficiam da combustão mais rápida de gasolina com octanagem mais baixa. Estes motores sao usados em áfrica e funcionam com gasolina de 80~85 octanas sem problemas nenhuns. Usar 98 é um desperdício

A guy running tracks with motorized bicycle came offered me a stupid amount of cash for it! He has raced that thing non stop now since he bought it and it has blow away all the modified stock kit class bikes he races! hes placed 2x times in top 3 against hybrid builds class to lol! that thing was crazy powerful once warms up!

@@BuildBreakFix is there a special oil you use that blends well? Are the ceramic bearings essential if you flush out the engine by running gasoline for a few minutes after. I have some camping E100 im tempted to tryout.

Ceramic bearings are not required! Nice for stupidly high rpms this had! Yes special ethonal mix oil! I had video on it. Some place. Stuff looks weird when you mix it!
