I named my youngest son Gareth. I love the name. It means gentle and there isn't too many Gareths in Australia. When he was going to school there were so many Bens and Matthews in the class. I am glad I called him a strong Welsh name and I think he likes it too. We have never called him Gary.

I’m from near Caernarfon and my name is Fflur, but i live in England atm. No one can say my name properly so i’ve said the “Fleur” pronunciation is fine, but sometimes that doesn’t even work so now, i go by Fflower. Double F, ofcourse. And my “catchphrase”, as my friends say, when i meet new people is “just call me Fflower” ahah

yeah, well, regarding where you live... I lived in Yorkeys Knob for nearly a decade. You would be on the phone to, like, anyone, they would ask your address, you tell them... then there is this rally loooong silence as they try to decide if you are taking the piss or not.
