I've only tried a couple of Next Fest demos, but one that I didn't know anything about previously that sort of fits with this was Cataclismo. It's sort of a survival city builder except you build your defenses brick by brick and can sort of design things how you want them with the resources you have. It's a pretty cool concept that seems l like it already has a lot of polish.

I'm more and more excited about the next fest. I'm getting that childhood excitement of rinsing out a demo of a game you really want because I don't have money to buy the full thing. Except now I can actually get it when it comes out

I ve played 4 demos so far, was only impressed by Synergy.I ll check this one out too.

I tried a couple and have a couple more on queue but nothing really stood out to me. Very nice art styles like Hauntii or Synergy but gameplay wise more of what we know. Now I'll check out some recommendations like this.

I tried some demos, had a lot of technical issues...and plenty of games that looked on in the video on Steam, but were just bad...only 1 of them went onto my wishlist, a Vampire-Survivor type of game called Artifact Seeker...and it's not that great either, but if the price is right, it can fill a few dozen hours.

I've played Indika because it seemed so weird from the trailer. Can't wait to play the full thing. Also played one called Harold Halibut. It's quite difficult to run, but the story is interesting and the graphics are.. Just look it up, it's cool, but weird. Also played Crown Wars: the black Prince which turns out it's a decent medieval xcom And finally Copycat because cats. Although I wasn't a big fan of the game in the end 😂

Haven't tried any of the games on this next fest, Homeworld 3 I'm willing to wait for launch and the rest I don't care much for. I'm also quite scared to download some of them because a few just seem like straight up malware like Dread dawn having some scetchy ass program running in the background.

Ugh tried a few from the fest this yr. Was disappointed with all. The majority looked like trash and the few I gave a chance played like trash. Seems like a lot of them were hurry slap together a demo so we can be on the list when they were far from rdy to show a slice.
