I went to some thrift stores and bought a bunch of women's clothing to become the joker.

I've been saying since the summer that I'll dress up as Heath Ledger's Joker for Halloween but still haven't gone shopping for the costume because I've been out of work and didn't bother because I was thinking it'd be way too expensive. Definitely gonna go into second hand shops during the week now and see if I can find a cheap enough costume. Thanks for the inspiration

where is my description gag? even if I'm the only one who sees it, its worth the effort. On a more relevant note, that's a really sick joker cosplay! With better make up, it would be way better than a lot of stuff you can buy online, or in costume stores. I suppose replicating this build would come down to luck, seeing as not every thrift store has the same stuff, in the same color, in the exact size you would wear. but still, kick ass!

I actually did the same thing on Halloween 2019. I was making Joaquin Phoenix's Joker costume and I found everything except the vest, so my mom made it. It was so much fun! Whenever I have an idea of a cosplay, I'll always thrift first.
