Joker doesn't use face paint, that was only the Heath Ledger Joker. Joker fell in acid from Ace Chemicals while trying to escape from Batman when he was disguised as a villain. so that's why he had tattoos.

The tattoo thing is cos well... The joker in the comics doesn't wear white face paint he's been bleached by acid hence the white skin. There's that really cool scene in the movie where the same thing happens to Harley and its basically ripped straight from the pages of the new 52 comic I love it.

I've never cosplayed or anything like that but if I did I'd like to do a deadshot cosplay. Is their anything extra I'd have to do for the mask(especially the eye piece) that wasn't mentioned here?

Because he was only in one shot with the mask, I made a really quick one out of white nylons and marker. If he was in more shots I would have made a stronger one out of fabric or foam pieces, or something. The eye piece is a little light I got at the dollar store just taped to my face! We only make what you see, and only make it to last for the shots we need!

The tattoos aren't over his facepaint because he doesn't wear facepaint. His skin was bleached when he got pushed (most likely by batman, or maybe he just jumped in) into the ace chemicals vat. Which is what he did to Harleen Quinzel when she falls in love with Joker.
