Great vid bro! I used to be like this, but I genuinely believe that maturing in the gym is learning that we need to prioritise recovery and longevity and not just beating ourselves up every day

good perspective, andrew. i fall into the train everyday camp. i'm retired and have a good amount of free time. i don't do a lot of volume during any workout because of the daily training. i train handstands nearly every day. as you stated, they have a low strength quotient and they seem to require almost a grease the groove consistency in order to see improvement.

Yo A , thank you . 65 young dude and like your narrative … I like 7 days so your approach helps to maximise results. B

Honestly I’d been progressing fast at weighted pullups but after a while I hit a plateau, now that I’m training 2 days a week instead of 3, I’m making a lot of progress

Love this video!! Recovery is everything! Had a quick random question, when it comes excerises to strengthen external rotation e.g. Unilateral Dumbell external rotation exercises. When do you think they should be done? After workout, an active rest day or even before workout? Would love to hear ur opinion :)

Great video! Is it okay to do workout everyday but to run and train lower body on my upperbody rest days?
@SebastianReick28 күн бұрын
How would you say is this topic linked to overall workout routine design, specifically how to split your routine? Personally I found that total body workouts tend to get too long for me per session, exceeding 90 minutes. So an upper/lower or PPL split can be less demanding per session, although the number of training days per week is larger (5 or even 6 days compared to 3). Of course, ultimately every program design has to fit with everything else in life

Another great vid dude 👍 have you ever considered creating a patron? I for one would join straight up 🙂 take care of yourselves 👍
@CaliToTheCrowdАй бұрын
This is very kind Ash! I don't actually - the main reason is that I feel that if I were to do Patreon i would want to make it so that member got something a little bit extra, an I just don't have the time to do that extra bit just yet. As always, thanks for the love bro! 👊🏿

Have you ever had shoulder injury?
@CaliToTheCrowdАй бұрын
No, but honestly shoulders and elbows are the joints that I am most protective over. Whenever I feel even the slightest issues with them, I stop and give them a rest because they are EVERYTHING in calisthenics

There is a German saying "less but better". Ever since I heard it, I live by it because quality is better than quantity. You have some of the most insightful videos by the way

I have heard that saying before. Good words to live by, Malcolm
