Undertone has 3 parts namely cool, warm and neutral. someone with fair or dusky skin tone but having a warm undertone will emit a golden yellow color like most people of east asia or an olive green like most people of south asia whereas someone with cool undertone will emit a pseudo blue or pink color like most of western people. No matter the color of someone's skin is dark or light, undertone determines a person in using makeup, jewelry, clothes and others. Someone with warm undertone is more suitable to use gold jewelry while someone with cool undertone is more suitable to use silver jewelry. lucky for those people who have neutral undertone because all colors will look right if used. The point is the level of skin brightness or skin tone can be increased by reducing the melanin using some products of skin care like using serum containing retinol or vitamin C which works to brighten the skin color of our face, using sun block, sunscreen or doing facial and taking care of our skin by diligently doing spa in the salon or consuming vitamin E and doing diet to make the whole skin lighter but the skin color can only change according to skin color in areas that are rarely exposed to sunlight such as the inside of the body, that's what she said in this video. We should understand that the undertone or the color that emanates from our skin can't be changed but the skin color or skin tone can only be changed to be one or two shades lighter.
