If Lonnie goes, it will only be to the NBA, but if he stays in Europe, it will be in Zalgiris.
@mp13357 күн бұрын
Well yes, in fact if I'm not mistaken, the only buyout clause in his current contract IS for NBA only.

I don't know anything about the contracts, but if that's the case, I hope he stays in Lithuania.

Lonnie will build a more solid 'self' as a player and establish a better NBA re-entry point if he stays with Zalgiris.

Lonnie stay in Euroleague. Stop begging for employment in NBA. Kendrick Nunn has never been happier. He can thank Euroleague. Plus you get to live and experience Europe.

Lonnie Walker is the best individual player in the Euroleague. Such a talent has not been in the tournament for a long time and he is not yet in his best version. He is a black worker who plays like Kobe forever. Such a player is an example for young basketball players. He is a great player and we do not know what L. Walker's ceiling is.
@mp13356 күн бұрын
"Juodadarbis" visiškai nesiverčia į "black worker". Anglakalbėse šalyse liktum labai neteisingai suprastas :) "hard worker" turbūt arčiau to, ką nori išreikšti :)

Kobe. But Kobe never tried Europe. I think Lon started perfect way. NBA just a game, Euroleague pure love to the game

Well, if he moves to Boston, it'll prove all his hard work, do what matters is bs, and he just chases money (which isn't bad), but if he stays he'll be a cornerstone player, wherein Boston, he'll warm the bench
@pagirios22856 күн бұрын
No way he begged the scouts in the stands during mid game? Thats disrespectful to the team
@mp13356 күн бұрын
Well, the mutual understanding that his goal is the NBA and the exit clause that lets him leave to NBA mid-season were the reasons why he signed with žalgiris in the first place. So no one's surprised. That was part of the deal. He would not have signed otherwise. Multiple euroleague clubs wanted him. Real was offering him much more money, but he said no. Was not interested. The mutual understanding that he wants to go to NBA first and foremost and that this is simply his launchpad to get back there was the reason why žalgiris got to sign him and for a relatively low price(given his quality to price ratio it's the greatest steal in EL)

If he goes back to NBA he won’t ever be the star he can be in the EuroLeague .They’ll give him minimal minutes and he’ll be a 2-3 option as there is to many names and the NBA promotes certain players.If he stays in the EuroLeague and I’m not necessarily saying Žalgiris .Possibly one of the top teams in EuroLeague could take him and I think he would have a fantastic EuroLeague career. This is from a Žalgiris fan 💚⚪️💚⚪️💚⚪️

Žalgirio biudžetas mažiausias. Su tokiu biudžetu galima žaist tik pin pongą. Liūdna šalis, liūdni biudžetai.
@actlikeyouknow3776 күн бұрын
