Was looking for set up using what the manufacturer recommended to start. Braiins Pool. But appreciate the first part of the video leading up to a pool called Stratum. Maybe some day will look into switching pools but want to start with recommended set up.

I have 3 Nanos so far, they all have the connection issue, disconnects/reconnects... mine DO keep mining though, i just let them roll like that until we get a firmware update.. I'm soloing sha256 meme coins with mine. doing pretty well so far!

been using Nano3 Solo on Monster for 2 weeks. Super easy setup. actually getting a range between 3 and 8 THs, 50k to 300k shares. Using a couple of cpu fans on the unit to keep it cooler.

Absolutely. More hashrate = more chances of hitting blocks. I have 3 of these, i have multiple bitaxes, mars lander, etc. You would just mine to the same pool and btc address or same pool and other alt coin on the sha256 aglo. You would put yourbtcaddress.workername to tell which is which on the pool. ie. Bcaoiegyhapoi4ey1234890yh234t;ligh.Nano1, .nano2, etc.

Imo it is a lottery miner. I am sure could pool mine and make pennies a day, but for me I am using them on sha256 coins solo mining and trying for blocks

Yes, hold the power button. Only other and not recommended option is unplugging device. Yes this can seem odd, but this is an asic, and many asics do not have power button at all.

You mean WiFI? The app did not work for me, but I used my computer to connect the Avalon Nano to the WiFI/internet as described in the manual.

@@arthurmilonas7986 You connect with the heater_nano_xxxx WiFi first, than you set the WiFi the Avalon Nano 3 should use, lets give it the imaginary name 'Home 2.4G'. At that point the Avalon Nano 3 will connect to 'Home 2.4G'. In order to access the Avalon Nano (step 7) you need to connect to 'Home 2.4G' yourself. Once you are on your own WiFI you can connect to the IP address displayed on the Avalon Nano 3 display. You can login with 'root' for both login and password

I have not. I know it needs to be 2.4 and not 5ghz, but other than that mine found the wifi networks.

someone just hit a block last week on a bitaxe supra. those are only up to 600ghs. The avalon nano 3 has up to 1.4 ths (1400ghs)...so it is possible, but again it is lottery and not all that likely. If you use miningpoolstats.stream you can find a bunch of alternatives to solo mine with these on sha256

I run mine on medium all the time and it is 90w for 3.15 ths. High is 140w for 4 ths, and low is i think 60w for 2 ths. Personally i like medium mode as it doesnt super heat the device or power supply. I am looking to just leave them run longterm.

I have an Xfinity router and I've followed the instructions to a T but the WIFI keeps timing out but if I use my phone's hotspot, I can grab an IP address and connect . Can anyone help me connect the nano 3 to my Xfinity home router?

I am not a huge networking guy, but I assume that it is not holding the IP. In those instances you can set a Static IP instead of using a dynamic (auto assigned by router) IP. again not the biggest networking guy, but i would bet you can find a video on how to accomplish that easily

You need to log into your router and allow the pass thru for the wireless miner. Seen this before and you need to check your router configuration or create the rule for the pass thru.

On pool mining on high, 140w, at 12 cents pkwh , power cost would be .40 cents usd per day, earnings would be .23 cents per day, net loss of .17 cents per day. Not financial advise, but i am mining for blocks or bust on my 4 nano 3s.
