Have you issued an update about the retaliatory lockout by the corporation?

What a sad business, doesn't grow and now strike? Just like the Canadian economy, flatline to decline~

FYI - Canada Post workers are willing to deliver parcels on weekends. Canada Post won’t allow it. They want to create a job and then pay less money for it and take away more money from current employees.

Don’t forget a weaker pension, gig pt work, and having to work 1000hrs as a permanent employee to get benefits.

I'm sick and tired of unions holding this country hostage. We need massive anti-union legislation.

Why are we blaming the workers who have seen their wages fall 15 percent in the last few years as I read. The economy was much more stable when we had reasonable unions, and company management was also reasonable in negotiations so the middle class could thrive and support our businesses. If we gut our middle class, we gut our economy. Just my opinion.

You know, if it weren’t for the postal union, Canadians nationwide wouldn’t be enjoying maternity leave? It was CUPW that fought for that for its employees and afterwards the country adopted it. Unions make working conditions better for everyone, not just their members. They raise the bar.

Canada Post is no longer relevant.
@thedingywizard59557 күн бұрын
They’re trying to remain relevant as a Canadian institution. Did you know that school children see postal workers as being more trustworthy and approachable than the police?

750 million was spent on new plant, 350 million on new electric vehicles and 34 Billion goes towards management salaries. All the while pay has gone down more than 15% and jobs have been lost theough the guise of “restructuring”.
