Hi akka! Super ah explain panninga! I wish we had this video when we applied for PR. And to those applying for PR and struggling to save money for Proof of Funds, as akka told, try your best to save money from your salary for proof of funds. Secondly, sell your vehicles if you have any (have the receipt), and liquefy any assets that you may own (jewelry, mutual funds, etc). Thirdly, get money from parents, relatives and don't forget to create a gift deed for it. Use the money from friends as extreeeeemely last resort (Obvious question for case officers, why would a friend gift a huge amount of money to another person?). Don't forget you have to clearly explain everything to your case officer / IRCC if they get any doubts on how you obtained the money. As akka told, the rate of rejection for PR is rising and not explaining proof of funds clearly could be one of the reasons for the delay in acquiring PR within 6 months. I hope I helped anyone through this comment. All the best everyone!

Don't think much and get panic..Funds are required to show that u have enough money to survive in Canada for 1 year if u don't get job...source of that funds prove pannanum..u don't have to talk about your loans.. Just ensure that amount getting added gradually in your account .if not questions will arise on source of money.. v had housing loan while v applied PR..v showed same account.. v shared the plan to pay loan and how long v gonna pay that..
