Awesome review RC! I got one of these from Bob as well and can't wait to try it out. I'm certainly disappointed now though that the newer IMP's only have one drink mix. I'm currently in talks with someone to get a whole case of 2017 IMP's actually... they should be great!

YES!!! It has been a while since I have seen a Canadian IMP, and this one is Fresh fresh fresh NICE. From what I have seen the toothpick hasn't been included in a few years. Peanut butter and jam are included in every meal, eat from package on the go. Those shakes seem to be hit or miss with amount of water. WOW that is a fantastic looking breakfast. LOL I live in Canada, in a military town and can never get our military rations. Thanks for a great review.

They actually discontinued putting toothpicks in the imps I've found out. Oh and a trick I was taught recently is to fold the bag on the line as to have an external reference point to add your water. Cool trick to use for sure.

Speaking about tile floors. I really miss my old house and the heated kitchen tile flooring I installed after we closed escrow and moved into it..... This house we are now living in is not worth that type of improvement at all. Nice review!!!

The apples can go with the cornbread or in the oatmeal. The peanut butter can go with the apples. The P&J can both go in the oatmeal. The peanut butter can go with the chocolate drink if u mix it hot.

Great job as always ! Funny intro,LOL. I have noticed in reviews, the last couple of years production runs, no toothpick in the rations. I think they tried to save A dollar or two? I agree, greatly appreciated extra touch. You got A great looking meal. If only there was A way to get CRISPY hash browns, unfortunately, it just is not going to happen, Waah ! I'm in the CAF and let me tell you that's people kill for that cornbread and my personal favorite thing is always the fruit they give you wether it be apples, peaches and pears, nothing like adding a little sweetness to your trench warfare! The fact that that ration appeared to be opened was strange, never seen that, also I think you were missing an item, the hamburger bun which is what usually guys put the jam and peanut butter on to make is taste the slightest bit better... thanks for the vid!

Jason Sulham not a dumb question at all. I usually try to eat most of it. The 24hr meals are usually spread over a whole day for filming, so these are my meals for the day. I try to not to waste food
