This American guy is none too bright. First time I heard of ketchup chips, my first thought was, that makes sense, it's potatoes after all. That said, being from Washington State, I eat my fries with tartar sauce. A friend from Boston was visiting and we were at a diner. We both ordered burgers and fries. The waitress brought the food and asked him, can I get you some tarter? He seemed irritated and snapped, "For WHAT? Tarter sauce is for fish! Ketchup is for fries! What's wrong with you people!!!" 😂

Uh, fry sauce. In this day and age of the small world, why aren't we getting our North American neighbours weirdass food in the US of A?
@marcuspi9998 ай бұрын
@@rootbox ooh fry sauce. Basically ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. I also like my tarter mixed with a little malt vinegar.

You know would go well with the all dressed chips? The graveyard. Anyone remember that. It's where you're going to the self serve soda machine and you get a little bit of everything (minus the diet). So it would usually be coke, Dr pepper, root beer, mountain dew, sprite, and orange or fruit punch. Sometimes lemonade.

Sir that American is very good at pretending to not know anything. He does the same with Britain and other parts of the world. He’s just doing this for views and entertainment value. He goes by the name Tyler Rumple for his U.K. theme bits. Can’t blame the guy for doing things for views. Love the channel and much respect.

My dozen years in B.C. introduced me to the 'weird' chip flavors, but two things. I was there as they came out in the 70's and it must be a west coast thing but, 'Old Dutch' was the chip brand of choice. BTW, when I first moved to B.C., there was only plain and barbeque flavor. And I still love salt n vinegar although that was new and weird then. (I still can't get white vinegar for my French fries here...)

I remember the first time I saw Ketchup chips here (New York), I thought "finally!", someone realized that chips (like fries) deserve ketchup. One thing I have noticed with the All Dressed chips, it depends on what brand they are on how they taste and what they deem to be "ALL". I've had them from 4 different companies and they all have distinct differences.

I know I'd like ketchup chips. I often dip chips in ketchup. Really good. I find it funny when reactors try peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the first time. Most of them find it unthinkable that you would eat this combination. Canadians and Americans grew up on PB & J. Thanks Adam!

I have never officially had your ketchup chips but growing up my mom and me always would dip chips in ketchup, because like you said you dip fries in ketchup why wouldn't you dip fried potato chips in it. But even my friends would think we were nuts. But they are so good. So I am sure we, (me and my mom) would totally love your ketchup chips. 👍👍👍 ps, For got to mention that we are from Michigan, maybe that could be why we have the similar tastes, because we are close neighbors. 😊

That surprise goose honk in the intro made me lose my coffee hahaha, subtle yet not so subtle Canadianism there! 😂 Yeah fun fact, the Niagara region of Ontario is aka the “ketchup region” of North America. How did I find that out? Getting my dad, who is from Ontario, fired up over who has better ketchup lol. He gets worse when we get into the topic of maple syrup, but come on, Quebec of course! We need an Adam facepalm meter going or a count, I can relate cuz that is me for most videos of people trying stuff. Just google these things ffs…🤦🏼♀️

You should check out the "The TRY Channel" on KZbin. It's Irish folks tasting North American stuff. They've got some good Canadian content (snacks, whiskey, food, etc...). And if you see the one where the men test out menstruation simulator, you'll be howling!!! Also, they are MUCH more entertaining than this Tyler Bucket dude... (I agree, "Read the back!!!" What a knucklehead. Thank you for cutting him short). P.S. Go Jays!!!!

I don't like those Irish people (specifically, not as a general statement 😂). They're too into themselves. I like watching Tribal people react. They're really great. They're subsistence farmers and herders who live in remote parts of Pakistan. They feed them Western food, have them watch Classic Western television. They even took them up in a jet airplane to a major city. They all thought noodles were the weirdest thing ever and their favorite TV shows were Mr. Rogers and Bob Ross!
