The guy mentioned a tunnel catastrophy movie we already have that its called «the tunnel»

7:26 Rogfast is not a submerged floating tunnel. It is simply a sub sea tunnel through rock all the way. It is set to be the world's deepest and longest road tunnel, so still impressive.

Saving gas? Norway are going electric. This road way are going to be cheaper, because you don't need as many exost towers, when you have EV's. 26,3% of all cars on the road in Norway are EV's

Rogfast, the most southern one, is started building. Planed finish in 2033. This is an 30-40 years project. If all parts vil be build is up in the air. The pictures and the projects don't line up.

Hi Sir. Love your show, thanks. But in this "Norway-project#E39 " I can tell you, 2050, dream on! This #E39 go by my city, #Forde Im 57 yo and its been talking about a tunnel, so the main traffic between #Bergen and #Alesund #Trondheim can go outside our citycenter, since I could read the local newspaper. Today, we dont know. Its close, but .. This video is ok, but 2050? Fkcof. Still, we dont have more then 70% yellow-line on the road, mainland, between Bergen and Forde. Our next trip will be Canada 4sure!

That original video is really messy, jumps back and forth and says wrong things the entire way, "Norway's $47BN Coastal Highway" by "The B1M" is far better.

While a lot of this road is being built, like Boknafjordtunnelen (which will be the longest and deepest road tunnel in the world), I have seen NO indications that the most impressive part of the project will ever be built. The "floating submerged tunnel" across Sognefjorden is too experimental and too expensive, and we will likely have ferries there for the next century.

This is factually incorrect. This is a long term project described in NTP 2018-2029, and while there has been revisions and aspects of it might change or have setbacks or delays, it has already begun. For example, In April 2020 the Eiganes tunel in Stavanger was completed, and the work on the Rogfast project, the worlds longest and deepest sub-sea tunel, slated for a 2033 opening has begun with contracts for all four segments already signed, and the blasting phase for the Kvitsøy tunnel connecting Rogfast to the iland of Kvitsøy has already been completed. There are many other ongoing projects related to E39 as well, including ones that are not ynder ocean tunnels or bridges, but other "supporting" infrastructure in that this will totally change the flow of traffic in many areas, and new road projects have to account for these future plans, for example E39 Lyngdal which is a on shore 10km stretch of E39 which is to a large degree a series of tunnels and bridges through mountainous terrain on the mainland.

@@KjetilBalstad Yup - money _is_ being spent. Engineers _are_ working on it. Roads _are_ being redirected where they need to be for this project.
