Without going for show business or showmanship in order to improve work culture, look into the issue of customer service/ customer satisfaction which has gone to dogs long back, to be precise service of Canara Bank is very poor right from the beginning. Other public sector Banks like SBI started improving, but in the case of CANARA , service is deteriorating day by day. No improvement was observed till now. Most of the staff are quite reluctant in serving customers. Am talking about Canara Bank, Jadavpur branch Kolkata-32. When South Indians used to run the operation of that branch, the service was upto the mark. Nowadays it has been awfully bad. Hopefully my writing will come to the notice of some senior personnel of that bank and necessary action will be taken to improve work culture. Let's hope for the best.B. Datta. Kolkata.

Many workers are required for farming, farmer owners are really begging in front of workers, former owners are ready to pay near about rs 700 per day for 10 am to 5 pm to work in their farms with pure and cool water lunch break from 1 pm to 2.30 pm including transport vehicles from workers home to field. Cm is scale 4 officer generally posted in regional or zonal offices and it seems to be review meeting by the cm. and work culture in an organisation varies from zones to zones so dont generalise anything. canara bank is psb hence at most transfer but no termination for failure to meet targets. i accept "bhad me jay family" was a bit harsh .. rest is commonplace across the banking industry. and if you dont have the guts to resign or find another job then better get accustomed to this.
