He would need 2 doctors to agree that he has six months or less to live. He can’t sign up for it himself unless it’s different in Canada

He's getting treatment and it's slowing down progression = stopping immunotherapy to go full blown hospice right now would make zero sense, actually his doctor keeps telling him that he's overall doing okay (relatively, of course).

@Izzy-cu9do ok now I remember, the doc actually said if the next scans show progression you'll be dead by Christmas, in which case (if the scans are bad) go and visit your wife etc. Well anyway, I don't see anything fishy going on, I'm not sure why you and others are constantly saying that stuff doesn't add up because from what I see it does, that's all I'm saying.

Please get yourself to the hospital where they can make you more comfortable. Please think of your wife and family. They'd hate to think of you alone and suffering. What if you were to pass?! The thought of that happening and your being alone would be devastating for them. You may be fearful but remember that whatever is going to happen will. So, make yourself more comfortable and get to the hospital. Think of your wife, etc. Blessings❤

@@mmmmlllljohn Health care in the province of Québec is horrible! It's socialized medicine and a ton of people there, can't even find a family care physician! My elderly Mother waited 48 hours at the emergency room, before even being seen. It's a horrible system. And it takes months sometimes, just to get an appointment with your PCP. I know personaly, because I lived there most of my life. Been in the US, with private insurance for the past 16 years. Here insurances decide on many things, yet the healthcare is wayyy better! It's not appropriate to suffer so much, to try to be brave, to just exist in this painful state - mentally and physically. You can't do this alone. Some supplemental 02 at night would help. My dad lived on hospice FOR YEARS, it doesnt necc mean youre gonna die NOW.

This is true! I was a hospice nurse and I had a stage 4 lung cancer patient on hospice for 4 yrs and got off it!!! Miracles DO happen and God is good!

He doesn't have lung cancer. It has spread to the lung but started as Alveolar Sarcoma. Moreover many lung cancer patients these days are non smokers
