My north node is in Cancer and the past few years really showed me the importance of taking on more of the higher vibration of Cancer. The men have no qualms about expecting the women in their lives to give to them. These men (relatives and romantic partners) helped me to see the fallacy of over-giving as an expression of my love for them.

Thanks for this discussion Jewel. I'm a Pisces sun, Aqua moon, Cap rising and with Cancer in my 7th, I can't avoid them. My dad was a Cancer sun too. Their moods fluctuate too much for me and they test women to determine how much we care for them. It's silly. They are cardinal but lack the fortitude to truly lead. I prefer the stability of earth where half of my personal planets reside.

I like a guy with sun in cancer, my sun is taurus and pisces moon. He is very warm, so fucking hot, cute and confident. If he were to be very clingy after a while, I wouldn’t have anything against it, I like feeling needed. Im very independent but I have known a lot of cancers that are very clingy but I like it, I like taking care of them. They are expressive, warm, kind, funny and very sweet, he seems a bit moody but I am very stable so I can balance him out❤️

That's pretty amazing, because I just broke up with MY sun in cancer man, and I am like you, Taurus sun and Pisces moon! We had issues for 3 years and we even went to a councillor. This whole time I have appreciated all his strengths. But his weakness on needing to fill the hole with me, and when I wasn't filling that hole, behaving in a soothing manner while he was crabby and often rude, he would stonewall me. Sometimes for weeks and months. I couldn't take it anymore. No amount of romanticism, sensitivity, or hotness can substitute simple respect, confidence and accountability. I miss him dearly and it hurts to be apart. But I felt humiliated by these selfish displays masked as sensitivity.

I have my Lilith in Cancer and literally ALL of my guy friends are Cancers. It's been that way my whole life. I'm confused with the Lilith though, because I've heard that those are the people you're opposed to.

+Kelly Kerrigan That's a lot of feelings. A man with that would be more geared toward domestic life. My Dad has four personal planets in Cancer....he bakes cookies. The more energy in Cancer, the more the focus is going to be on on creating a domestic life and partnership.

We just do not sit on the couch with popcorn in hand asking for needs to be met. We give of ourselves, erase ourselves, do everything that make others happy but in return we are not even supposed to expect being appreciated and loved for that? The greatest fear of cancer sun man is that no one truly loves him and he is going to die a lonely man.
