Also try this everytime right after you take the medicine. It's the medicine of God's Word. Day 1: Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. Day 2: Exodus 23:25-26 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil. Day 3: Deuteronomy 7:15 And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee. Day 4: Psalm 91:9-10 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. Day 5: Psalm 103:1-5 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Day 6: Psalm 107:19-20 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Day 7: Proverbs 4:20-23 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart; For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Day 8: Isaiah 41:10 “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Day 9: Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Day 10: Isaiah 55:9-11 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Day 11: Isaiah 58:6-11 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? When thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward. Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday: And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. Day 12: Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, “This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.” Day 13: Malachi 3:6 “For I am the Lord, I change not” Day 14: Malachi 4:2-3 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts. Day 15: Matthew 7:7-11 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Day 16: Matthew 8:16-17 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. Day 17: Matthew 9:35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. Day 18: Matthew 15:30-31 And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them: Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel. Day 19: Mark 11:22-24 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, “What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Day 20: Mark 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Day 21: Luke 4:17-19 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Day 22: Luke 9:1-2 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. Day 23: Luke 10:8-9 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you: And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. Day 24: Luke 13:16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day? Day 25: Acts 4:29-30 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. Day 26: Acts 5:15-16 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one. Day 27: Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Day 28: Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree. Day 29: James 5:13-16 Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any merry? Let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Day 30: 1 John 5:14-15 “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” Day 31: 3 John 2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

This is such an important video. Even though cancer is so prevalent in our society a lot of us don't know exactly how to approach it when we are confronted with it. What they people in the video said applies to a lot of situations; maintaining open, honest communication while still respecting the other person and not asking intrusive questions. I really enjoyed hearing different perspectives, Emily in particular spoke some real truths about mortality.

I went through intense cancer treatments 2016-2017 and so much of what they say is dead on. Especially about the "dont call us warriors" thing. I hated that. I didnt fight cancer, i endured it. That's it. Trying to say i "fought" makes me feel like a fraud. If the person going through cancer wants to use that term, fine, go for it. But not everyone feels that way. Also, _PLEASE_ stop saying "ill pray for you" or "your recovery was a miracle or blessing from god". Not everyone going through cancer is a believer. Me personally when you say things like "ill pray for you" i rather you go home and spend 5 mins on google and look up what forms of cancer are most prevalent to you, and educate yourself on it. Praying wont heal me or stop you from getting sick, but learning the early warning signs _CAN_ save loves. And when i hear "your recovery was a miracle" what i hear is you not understanding that it was my doctors and nurses who made me better. Who spent hundreds of man hours on me, caring for me, pouring over tests for me. Who cleaned me up when i puked on myself from chemo at 2 in the morning. If you want to "thank god" that im better, don't. I have a phone number right here that you can call and you can thank _personally_ the people that actually helped me.
@shanenelson38634 жыл бұрын
People who say they are praying for you or that God cured you mean well. They really do mean well. I think people who believe I. God and people who don't believe in God look at the world differently. Me personally I wish I could make myself believe because when I really did believe in God I was so much happier and I felt purpose. Soon as I started really looking into it and my beliefs were destroyed I looked at everything so different like how did the universe come to be?, what is consciousness?, is death really the end? Are we in a simulation? I know this is off topic and I'm rambling but those people that believe really do mean well.

@@shanenelson3863 Jesus is real. Miracles happen. But we sadly live in a fallen world filled with disease and sin. I am glad you survived and endured your cancer. But maybe God is giving you another opportunity to accept him into your heart. Believe Jesus is God Son and died for us to set us free of our sin. You just need to believe and Pray, God will speak to you.
@__Andrew4 жыл бұрын
@@shanenelson3863 I never said they do not mean well, but that doesnt change that its rather rude and presumptuous of them. It would be like if i believed in crystal healing and walked up to a Baptist cancer patient and waved my crystals over their stomach while telling them the god energy of the universe that is flowing through me is now being channeled into their lymph nodes. If you care about someone you should try to respect them, and that includes respecting them enough to not push your beliefs onto them. As far as the other stuff you brought up... dont know, and i cant really be bothered to care since its outside our grasp of knowledge anyways. Worry about the things that you _can_ change, and let the rest be. Otherwise worrying about a death you do not understand is like living in constant fear that at any point an asteroid is going to strike earth and kill everyone. Can you change that asteroid's path? No. So wither it happens or not is not in your control. So dont live your life in constant anxiety of things you have no control or knowledge over.

I love watching these cancer videos, but it would be cool if vice could do some videos on childhood cancer survivors as I feel like the age of when you have cancer affects how you feel about it among other things. Still, it always gives me hope to hear others stories. I really relate to the dating portion as I have had to deal with my realities and disability for 15 years out of my short life so I always say it on the first date. Also, I hate being called a warrior like the people in this video said. I had cancer. Moving on. The one that annoyed me the most was "I'm praying for you." I don't believe in a god and you shouldn't assume that I do or that I should be grateful for something that I don't want or need. Also heard every "my grandma/uncle/friend had cancer too" story. I don't know those people and cancer isn't a club where we can all relate to each other even if we've never met. It's understandable that most people don't know what to say when they find out you have cancer, and for me, the best thing anyone could have said to me was "do you need a ride to the store and some help with grocery shopping?" or "can I cook you a meal and help with the dishes?" Chemo made me so weak I could barely continue standing on my own two feet, and normal tasks were really hard. Don't tell someone "hey give me a call if you need anything." They probably won't because it's hard to ask for help and it's just one more thing to have to deal with when you're just trying to get through the day. The best thing you can do is offer specific types of help, even if it's some hang time with movies and laughs.

Latina Anderson I’m not religious either but if someone says that they will pray for you then you should at least appreciate the act and that they’re going out of their way to do something which they believe is in the best interest of you.

Ugh, the I hated people who would talk to me about god or praying. I remeber there was a nun who would constantly try to come to my hospital room and talk to me about the importance of faith. I understand that people mean well and that they truly want god to save you, but I'm not a religiuos person and god didn't save me, medicine did. I was very young when I had cancer and I remeber questioning why would god do this to me. I was brought up in a religiuos way, but after the cancer I stopped going to church.

The feelings of being overwhelmed by tiredness can't be put into words. The chemo brain that may or may not go away is really strange. I found I had to ask because that wasn't addressed in any of the mounds of paper given me by my oncologist. @jadebell5504 жыл бұрын
derty QWERTY he has to have a specific treatment to kill his cancer .. it’s treatment specific and only responds to arsenic.. they used arsenic bc it’s known proved to kill that cancer and other chemo drugs were to ensure they got it all .. had they just used regular chemo no arsenic like they do for ALL and CLL leukemia...it wouldn’t have worked.. they actually have the cure to APL leukemia.. it’s arsenic trioxide .. 80/20% cure rate .. to bad the arsenic doesn’t kill all the other types of cancers.. I make his Cbd for him .. no need for us to order it.. but thank you for the recommendation...

Losing my hair to chemo taught me I don’t care about hair. Cancer shows you what you’re capable of. You can’t know about cancer unless you’ve been diagnosed with it. Oncologists and chemo nurses are a very special kind of people. Cancer is a disease, not a failing. There is no conspiracy to hide a cure. Cheers.

What’s really sad is the food systems in the US and the extent that people take their poor diets and lifestyles, and it’s become common practice for Americans to make fun of people who eat vegan or vegetarian and meanwhile that’s exactly what the people need. You are simply an accumulation of what you eat. If you eat junk all the time, look in the mirror and change, especially if you HAVE the money and have the ability to eat good food and you choose to eat microwaved or processed meals. There are no skip days. Your body is your temple EVERYDAY. Also if you are eating ANY store bought bread in America you’re eating poison. Make your own fresh bread. IT IS YOUR BODY. Treat it the very best you can afford to treat it.

Some people don’t have tact and don’t know how to act around someone that has a devastating disease like cancer. I’m sure they don’t want to talk about it every day of their lives. Just because they have this is not a reason to treat them any differently than anyone else.
@Tis_I_SirJames4 жыл бұрын
Your comment is so contradictive. First, you say, "people should know how to "act" around people with such a devastating disease. So we need to put on an act around them, right? Then you say, "just because they have this is not a reason to treat them any differently than anyone else." To act or not to act. That is the question.
@ashleygross67054 жыл бұрын
Sir Aragon of Enid it was not meant to act as in a film or putting on an act. That was meant as though people don’t know how to be normal to a person with the disease. And no, they shouldn’t be treated differently.

the problem with ppl. especially today, is they always see their problems as external and involving others and because of this there is little hope for them to control the only thing they can control which is their state of mind and perspective. it is also extremely egotistical and hypocritical given the context of this video to think a handful of carefully selected cancer patient's personal opinions on the matter somehow makes them representative of all cancer patients or terminally ill ppl. the audacity it takes to use your cancer status to tell everyone else hjow all cancr patients should be treated takes a self involvement on a level that i wasn't sure was possible till i watched this...cancer or no cancer you ppl oughtta be ashamed of yourselves and tbh focus on you not other ppl so much and for god's sake's learn that cancer or terminal illness is not something everyone handles or takes in the same way so there is no "one way to treat all cancer patients appropritely.

omg get over it already lol. "the internets cruelty and mean spirit" ...god you are fucking pathetic. even if the internet is as you say, which is subjective at best, it would be giving you and other ppl opportunities to rise above and learn to find peace within. the internet's hostility as it were seems to only effect the weak minded, admittedly that number is exponentially growing with each generation because as each genberation comes they rely more and more on it for their own lives. there was a time when ppl who had real life experiences prior to growing up online like today had perspective regrding trolls etc online, but because you morons tody see facebook and social media and the internet as your personal space youy get offended and take it the samer way as if someone said it in your own living room to you and it is not the same or the case. you need serious help

@__Andrew4 жыл бұрын
It would save lives. I lost my healthcare when my job changed owners. We were all told we would keep our insurance, but that was the first thing to be taken from us when the new owner took over. Open enrollment in Obama Care was in the fall, so i had like 6 months before that that i figured i would wait out and then sign up. That summer i started to get sick. And it got worse and worse. But i refused to go to a doctor because i didnt have the money or the insurance. If i went and all i got was an antibiotic for a chest cold i could be out a couple hundred bucks that i needed for rent when i could just wait out the problem for free. Eventually my sickness got even worse. My back hurt, i couldn't stop coughing, i was even throwing up blood. I stopped eating, i barely drank anything. Now i was doubly worried because this was not going to be a couple hundred dollar in-out visit. I would have to go the the ER, we are talking maybe thousands of dollars our of pocket. My worry about the cost (which would mean i would basically not be able to pay for food, or rent, car insurance, etc etc etc) outweighed my fear of the problem. Which is saying a lot considering i was coughing up blood multiple times a day. When my sister finally dragged me to the ER the doctor there told me i had stage 4 cancer. My _FIRST_ thought at the time was "omg, how much is this going to cost me? I cant afford it and i dont want to burden my family with medical costs. Maybe i should just ask to be released, tell my sister a lie, then go home and kill myself". I eventually went through lots of chemo, and surgeries, and hospital stays for my cancer. I had intense chemo and ended up having several organs totally or partially removed and an artificial artery put in. _NOW_..... had i gone to the doctor when i was first sick with what i thought was a chest cold at the time they would have caught my cancer then. I would have had a MUCH lighter and less expensive treatment process. I would probably still have my kidney too. But because our healthcare system makes going to the doctor a gamble between cost and heath, many people wait to long. Making the problems worse and worse. I have friends int he UK and when they are sick, they just take a day off and go to the doctor and get checked out. No worries. Preemptive care saves lives and money.
