@@Kr3nkt it can sound like a lot but belive me man, when you math this kind of shitty buffs into the whole damage calculation the effort is not rewarded, there are so many buffs liek this in the game, Faruzan have a a buff that give dmg like a shenhe quill equal to some of her attack, is not worth, the whole kit of YunJin is like this, arguably even things like Albedo C2 is so minimal in the big scheme of things that's is just not viable from an investment point, and debatable to do even when you can afford it due to how little those increases are

On Arle the HP is probably not worth the ER, but Mualani is actually really good at funneling particles to her own supports, her E only has a 5 second CD, if Candace isn't at 100% energy you can just do a quick uncharged E and swap to Candace.

A niche character can only be good if their niche is actually good. Candace's problem before was that she didn't have particularly good options. I mean, look at Mika who was also meant to fill a niche role, yet he still isn't on a Faruzan level for Eula. Similarly, even as of now Candace doesn't actually reach the usefulness of Faruzan or Chevreuse when comparing the niches :/

@tamas9554 I would say the reason for this is that Faruzan and Chevreuse have much broader niches. One buffs the damage of an entire element and the other buffs an entire reaction, while Candance specifically buffs normal attacks which is MUCH more niche.

Faruzan is great for both Xiao and Wanderer, meanwhile Candace isn't actually that good for Arle, or at the most she competes with Xingqiu and Yelan at C6 ( still doubt it though) Even for Mualani, she is only a viable option since there are just a few alternatives. Similarly to why Dehya is useful right now, she can fill some niches, but she isn't particularly great. Candace's buffs aren't anything extraordinary, they are just decent and she can be an option for some characters because of it, but thats all

As for Mika he actually is great for Eula, especially with constellations! Besides the attack speed and dmg bonus, he also offers healing for Furina which is just cool

I got her C1 and use her in my Gaming team. She’s mainly there to fill in attacks between plunges during Gaming’s burst since Furina doesn’t alway hit the enemy I need her to. Her infusion has helped his damage quite a bit despite the clunky rotation (Xingqiu did make it smoother.) Although, Lvl60 Candace with 1/1/1 talents out there doing 25k with her hold skill and Xingqiu’s artifacts is a sight to see lol

I haven't tried yet but you can also get Mualani buffed by Yun Jin, especially if you have her c2. She buffes NA damage a lot but only if the character who is buffed has small NA ratio. So I think it would work good with Mualani also.

Absolutely adore Candace, adore all the desert dwellers from Sumeru and wish we had gotten more five stars of them. I use her with Arlecchino, Xilonen, and Dehya (sorry, I just am not a fan of circle impact so I bench my Bennie as much as possible). I like using my Candace in a weird freeze team with Kaeya as main dps. His normals have extra scaling and extra crit rate with constalations so he does decent hydro damage by normal attacking which provides hydro to freeze with his burst.

I used to see her as a Quickbloom support, especially for Cyno. Buffs normal attacks and has a slow Hydro application on her C6, it would be a perfect pair... but her competition was way better for that role and less expensive and, at lest for Cyno, her buff is too short for him. That was before Clorinde release.

The 4 piece Tenacity of the Millelith's attack buff isn't consistent on Candace because that buff triggers from elemental skill damage. (So unless you are using a whole bunch of snapshot characters, no.) Candace's element skill damage cooldown is too slow to have consistent buff uptime, and her C6 is considered burst damage, so also useless for keeping up the Tenacity buff. Tenacity works for Zhongli because his geo constructs send constant shockwaves. If you just want to stack crazy amounts of HP, you could do a 2+2 HP artifact set (Varukasha's Glow and Tenacity), but I'd recommend you do the damage calculations to see if it's worth all that farming (or if the farming is better spent on the character that Canadace is supporting).

As always, overall an amazing Video! What Set would you say is good to put on her to just slot her in any of her "best" or "mid-best" teams? I like the char design and I am fine on losing 100% value.. But I also hate changing sets since gearing up characters isnt exactly the easiest/fastest in genshin (to be fair in any gacha).. according to the video so far I guess you would just put Instructor and that would be best for overall use (not 100% optimal) .. but is there another one that can be slapped on her and she would just work in all the teams?

I found a less annoying way to use Petra on Candace , kachina c6 , when you use Candace skill it's considered as a breaking shield so kachina do AOE DMG in same time of Candace hydro DMG with the skill, so you get instant hydro cristal 😊, ok kachina it's a bit less good to buff but it way faster/easy to use Petra on Candace like this.

i play Candance with release in a Cyno or Eula team. And she was not bad but in the end i use my main team for exploration and fight. (Eula, Raiden, Yelan and a healer) After Sumeru i stop playing and with Natlan i play more Genshin again, but i see i have to play only tank chars with elementary reactions. But Dehya feels better on this map now, after the disappointment of her release

Mualani can do big burst damage but she's kinda slow and clunky right now. A Seigwinne-buffed Furina probably does more DPS, it's kinda funny seeing Furina's pets regularly crit for 200k, and she's just the buffer and "sub" DPS who provides "free" damage. And she makes Ayaka does like 2 million damage Bursts without some kind of impratical convoluted setup. Furina is just such a broken character.

Don't misinfo. Candace's normal attack buff increases the more HP she has.

Alot of people pushing her lately, despite her not being even a second best option in her "best teams". Same with Dehya, people just love their waifus + tired of water boy and Guoba, bruh.

I know most people just use candace as a buffer, and shes a FANTASTIC buffer, but i live her design so much that i want to on feild main dps her, just like i do for dehya. Im actually keeping an eye out for this weeks update video, because i feel like an main dps electro charged candace can go hard. Otherwise, im happy this beautiful woman is getting more and more love. For a pure buffing i either use her in arlecchino team or a chlorinde electro charged team
