Magic: Sunset Shimmer- even though she lives in the other world i find that she understands magic more than zecora. Not only did she not know how magic and friendship are connected but she decided to give it a go Loyalty: Applebloom - she takes the seed. Not once did she give up for Scoot-a-loo when Diamond Tiara told her that a pegasus cant be a pegasus without wings. She is perfect because she loves her family and friends. Kindness: Sweetie Belle - even though she is right in line for Generosity i think she is more kind to other ponies than anything. She loves animals and is always kind to others even if she is shy herself. Honesty: Princess Cadence - She is always honest to her subjects. That is why i think it is right for her to be Honesty. Laughter: Scoot-a-loo - She brings smiles to peoples faces even when she dosnt mean to but it is what makes her her. that is the cool thing about her Generosity: Princess Luna - She was nightmare moon but when she came back all she tried was to make friends and put herself out there giving to others and not wanting anything back in return that is what the true element of Generosity is about.

Loyalty: Soarin Soarin decided to stay with the Wonderbolts, even after they abandoned him in Rainbow Falls. This shows that no matter what, Soarin will always stay loyal to his team, so i believe he is a good candidate for the element of loyalty. Generosity: Cheerilee I agree that Ms. Cheerilee makes a great candidate for generosity because of how she cares for and nurtures her students, and I couldn't think of anypony else. Laughter: Derpy Hooves Derpy loves to see other ponies smile and is very much like Pinkie Pie, in a sense that she makes most ponies laugh or smile. Honesty: Big Mac Once again, I couldn't think of anypony better than Applejack's brother, Big Macintosh. Kindness: Doctor Whooves This is mostly based around fanfics, but when somepony's in trouble, Doctor Whooves will be there to help them, even if it means risking his own life to save another. Magic: Shining Armor I don't think Shining Armor is the best at magic, but I choose him because he is a great leader. If you think about it, Twilight is more representing leadership than magic. Shining is both head of the royal guard and prince of the Crystal Empire. He has a lot to do, but somehow manages to keep going. I believe Shining Armor is a great replacement for Twilight Sparkle.

Great video friend just one problem...I think pinkie is one of the smartest ponies in the show. She may not always make sense to other ponies but she has a core philosophy that is one of the most developed in the show. One which puts the happiness of others in the highest regard. That and she has shown incredible mental skills like remembering all of the names and birthdays for the ponies of ponyvile, Rare knowledge of all sorts, And abilities beyond are understanding. In a way she is like a buda and albert einstein in one.

Well, since this was made before season 4 (I think) I see how Cheese wasn't the laughter element. But Cheese Sandwich could easily replace Pinkie. He's already shown to have similar craziness to Pinkie, maybe even more. His entire job is to plan parties, and make others have fun! Yes you are very true yyyeeeettttt.... I must say that Big Mac is not always Honest no matter what. Watch "Pinkie Apple Pie" For example. He told something that wasn't true yet it was a something HE thought was true. But in the end it was a lie/something false. So I would have to think that Vinyl Scratch. Shes not much of a make everyone laugh person nor is she on camera for a long period of time. But every time she is on camera she doesn't lie. So I would agree but just change honesty to Vinyl. And That is my idea for the Secondary Main Six.

My only disagreement is with Vinyl being laughter. I think Lyra is more suited as she's kinda weird and deifies all logic. Much like Pinkie. I think if ponies viewed her actions like we have, I'm sure they would get a few laughs from her too. Cheese Sandwich tries to be funny, and he is don't get me wrong, but Lyra is just being herself. She isn't trying at all. She probably doesn't even realize that standing on a cloud even though she's a unicorn is weird and only applies to her.

I think that for the Element of Laughter, Doctor Whooves would've made a better candidate. As long as Doctor Whooves behaves like The Doctor from Doctor Who, we can expect him to be quirky and willing to make people laugh. He wouldn't necessarily bring a party, but The Doctor has always been able to put a smile on my face. If Doctor Whooves resembles The Doctor's personality, then I believe he would've made a better candidate for the Element of Laughter.

I believe the secondary six would be the reformers and a certain sister of Pinkie Pie; Starlight, Trixie, Discord, Thorax, Maud, and maybe even Chrysalis (That is, if she gets reformed. I see a pattern), or perhaps Sunset when she comes back to Equestria. I just watched S6-7 and they seemed to have the bigger focus, not the mane six anymore. Heck, four of them even rescued the planet and princesses. Now I don't know which element goes to who, but here's my hunch: Magic - Starlight Glimmer (I recall Trixie even saying that she was a mini-version of Twilight) Loyalty - Trixie (She sticks with Starlight a lot) Honesty - Thorax (He once disguised as a pony, but eventually he showed his true self to everypony. That's honesty right there) Generosity - ??? Chrysalis hopefully ??? Or Sunset ??? Kindness - Discord (Fluttershy has taught him a lot, and he IS slowly developing to be kind) Laughter - Maud (Ironic, I know. But I believe Maud is actually a VERY happy person, she just doesn't show it, not to mention her own sister possesses this element)

Magic represents friendship in MLP. I'm not sure she should be the element of magic, as she sort of isolates herself. As to who can wield the elements, well... anyone fighting for harmony, IMO. EVERYONE contains these elements within them; they're just part of what makes a good friend. Another thing, you can have as many wielders as you like. A rainbow isn't a set of discrete color bands, it's a continuum. You can add as many shades, as many friends, as you like.

Instead of listing traits of what makes a great friend, I list anything that can lead to a better reality if people follow any of these traits, hence the word gem comes into figurative play. The ten traits are Support, Truth, Brightness, Independence, Humbility, Awareness, Wisdom, Courage, Proignorance and Advancement. And by this order each of my characters represent one of these. Sammo, Saerrou, Marshetta, Nashnaye, Rushing Fire, Misty, Fate Mate, Tazma, Door Seal and Charla. Finally, these ten are used to defeat The Evil Proportioner for the first time before he escapes unlike in my favorite episode, Space To Us where he escapes out of the comic book world.

Vynal as laughter? I was expecting loyalty. -She ran out of the studio and repeatedly punched a security guard in "I am Octavia" just to see Tavi. -In "Tropical Octav3 animation" she comforts Octi. -In "Cartoon - Vinyl And Neon" she gives money to a Neon so quickly and casually. She's a entertainer, not a comedian so it's a weird match (Could work, maybe we've haven't fully seen her personality) AND DAM DO I WANT THAT BASS CANNON!!!

I believe loyalty should go to Queen Chrysalis because she was attacking Canterlot not because she wanted to be the most powerful. The Changelings need love to survive. Queen Chrysalis was helping them to live by taking the love from Canterlot and if her plan succeeded possibly all of Equestria. She's very loyal. She even (almost) sacrificed herself in the battle against Celestia so the Changelings could carry on with the plan. If you don't agree with just tell me so I can re-watch the episode. (I haven't seen it in a while)

I love the idea of Vinyl being Laughter ^^ I figure laughter brings happiness and unites people, whereas Music can do the same. This was the concept I made Sweet Beats from. Sweet Beats was a pony I made for a fanimation that never went through, sadly... Anyway! Yeah, I like that choice the most. As for my pick, I'd say the CMC. Yeah, there's only 4 that we know of (AB,SB,Scoots, Babs) but during the apple family reunion, Babs mentioned two other ponies joined her. Following the original pattern pre-Princess Twi, the Mane 6 will be made of two unicorns, two pegasi, and two earth ponies. I think Dr. Whooves should be loyalty since he always risks his life and sanity to protect the people he cares about, even the millions he doesn't know. He will make the hard decisions and make the ultimate sacrifices to save as many people as he can.

I have determined that my OC, Verdant Gearhead, would represent a different element, the Element of Gratitude, by showing a positive attitude of thankfulness for what he has instead of what his circumstances and abilities have denied him. The Element of Gratitude provides a significant power-boost to any other magic or magic user.
