Candy Crush and Bejeweled are free, they don't hold a gun to your head and force you to buy stuff, I never spent money on Candy Crush and I am on level 277, they even have a Booster Wheel that you can spin daily to get one or more boosters, I think Candy Crush is better than Bejeweled because Candy Crush has levels that introduce new mechanics, Bejeweled just stays the same and just has different modes like digging for gems or Blitz mode, which gets boring, I don't care about high scores so Bejeweled gets boring fast cause that's the only thing you can achieve in that game and Candy Crush is more colorful and visually appealing, Bejeweled's style looks old compared to Candy Crush and in Candy Crush, I can mix any two special I want to if they are close today, in Bejeweled, I can only mix some of the special gems together, like the hyper cube with another gem, but I can't mix two flame gems together, in Candy Crush, any special gem can be mixed to create a bigger effect

Clearly patent trolls like King aren't good for gaming world or industry because by only caring about gathering money they are simultaneously giving people, who are not yet familiar with the world of video games, the wrong image about why developers are making games. Or at least my many years of experience in gaming and this whole universe of games have formed me a stable view that most of the game developers do it to share all those positive experiences and joy they got from games to the next generations and to continue the good work and share their passion and love for gaming. That's why i'm going to become a game developer too, in the future, and am motivated to accomplish this dream. So, the fact that you made this video and exposed some background of CCS and its makers, is something worth lots of respect! :)

Ayla Petty I'm totally agreeing with you! I have been against King since i stumbled upon an article(about King trying to patent "Candy" and being a patent troll) on Fast Company(some web magazine which i was checking out at that moment) and read it. Before that i still hadn't played CCS because during that time the reason was that i wasn't interested in the whole game AND if i wanted to play swapping games, i would go and play Bejeweled; didn't need a new game to play the same old game... I'm glad i happened to see, and read, that article. Got a good reason to not play that game, and a more serious/objective(and better & updated) view on what is the current status of the world of games.

In fact, they did the reverse. A bunch of asshole devs trademarked the word "Edge" meaning it could never be used in other videogame titles. DICE eventually made Mirror's Edge, and in order to keep the name, EA took it to court, so that everyone can use the word "Edge" in their game titles now. Although EA are DEFINITELY assholes for other reasons, they're not the same reasons that King are assholes.

I came up with a bit of script for a Bioshock Infinite Honest Trailer. What do you think: The following trailer is rated H for Honest. Irrational Games brings you a game with a storyline so convoluted that in order to get the most value out of it, you have to play the game, buy the dlc, pick up everything, read everything, listen to everything, search everywhere and make the game twice as long as it needs to be, and then go on to forum threads to discuss everything…. aaaand you still won’t understand half the stuff that’s going on. Travel to 1913 Columbia; a floating city paradise, filled with; armed civilians, child cruelty, violence in the streets, and racism… kind of like present day Columbia. Play as Booker DeWitt, as he disrupts the peace in this floating paradise, and causes untold deaths, all in his quest to kidnap a young woman so that he can bring her to New York and sell her to a sketchy bunch of dudes in order to pay off his gambling debts. (Beat) Wait, seriously? He’s the good guy? Along the way, he’ll team up with Belle, as she desperately tries to get to Paris so that she can marry Beast and finally become a Disney Princess. Play along in the game with the one good escort mission that doesn’t have the possibility of the person dying. Whew, thank God for that. Travel with Elizabeth as instead of helping you fight against the waves and waves of enemies, she shows all the signs of being a hoarder, as she picks up everything around her, and throws them all at you… except for the one thing that she actually can use. Join in the war against a man who is basically Hitler, as he subjugates the Blacks and Irish, who fight back to prove that they’re better than him… by acting just like him. And then when you’ve finally finished the game, play the dlc, like, Clash in the Clouds, which takes the wide open, mysterious game you love so much, and turns into Call of Duty. Ha! Pawned, noob. Hahahaha, I totally f*&%?! your mom last night. And then play Burial at Sea, which for once gives the players exactly what they wanted from dlc, such as, returning to rapture, getting a closer look at the history and culture of the underwater city before it all went to hell, playing as Elizabeth, Atlas; that’s right, Atlas; you know you love him. Starring… A bottomless pit… Disney Princess roulette… Pope John Paul II… That’s So Raven… Laura-Mother-F*&%$!?-Bailey… Doctor Who and Assistant… Splicers… and Ayn Rand philosophy. Bioshock Infinite. Okay, wait; I think I finally figured it all out. It was all a dream.

Sky Snow Origin is a terrible service that has removed people's rights to play game's they own on many occasions. There have also been cases people paid for, and we charged for, items they never received on Origin. It's a thing, go look it up. On a more subtle level their tendency to mass produce DLC, have content locked on disk, do day 1 DLC, etc have stolen money from gamers in a more subtle manner. Not to mention full price for every Madden and Fifa game.

CC objectives are different in each level, but you have limited moves to do it. - Layout: Bejeweled levels are always a big rectangle. CC levels vary in shape from one to another, and the pieces are always random (even when repeating the level). - Losing condition: When you lose in Bejeweled, you have no idea of how many moves you needed to finish the level. In CC is painfully obvious how many moves more you needed to win. - Monetization: In CC, when you run out of moves, you can buy more.
