I painted using tinted clear,but I didn't apply clear over it before its dry. Now i want to apply clear over it.. Should i sand the tinted clear and apply clear coat or sand the tinted clear and apply tinted again and then clear coat ???? Do help plssss . I am doint it currently

VIP KC. What kind/brand of brandy wine paint did you get? I was gonna go black cherry red, but I like this color more.

HOK This is a nice color for sure. If you're new to painting, I would spray over a red base.

I thought you don't want to sand after laying pearl or flake or candy? I thought it affects the color? Or can you only not sand it if you mix it with you're clear and get a run at the end?

When flow coating do you always sand with 800? I've been doing 1000 but I feel I need to go coarser for better adhesion.

You can use 800-1000

Usually 800-1000. I've done both with good results. I'll have more updates about this in VIP, but... I would say that you need to be careful because you can cut through the clear quick with 800. I cut through on a few spots... Plan to clear it today or tomorrow... Will have updates soon!

Silver... You can spray over any silvers... or reds...
