Maybe graffiti and cans could work like traps on the ground like snakes down b or Steve's tnt, maybe with different inputs create different patterns with unique effects and launch angles, like, angling left could create a poison jam graffiti giving poison effects. The cans could also work like inkling ink where you deal more damage to tagged enemies. And the final smash has you doing a mural with the opponent in the way, doing all the circle quarter circle commands that pop up in the original jet set game for extra damage when Dj Professor K busts in and does... something, idk what but i think k should be apart of the moveset somehow. Also a gum alt?

There is only 2 official rules, the character has to be in a video game and the character cannot be important to manga or anime. It’s fine if a character has their own manga or anime, it just cannot be a defining part of the character. Having an extensive gaming history or a history with Nintendo is just a courtesy. Every character that follows those rules is fair game. Fans have imposed their own rules that de-confirmed characters such as Ridley, King K. Rool, Banjo and Kazooie, Joker, Steve, and Terry Bogard, Min Min, and Sephiroth, yet they are all characters in Smash Ultimate. Personally, I think a representative from Lethal League Blaze would both be interesting for Smash’s gameplay and would be healthy for both the Smash and Lethal League communities, and also isn’t unlikely considering the fact that Terry is a representative of all characters. I am about to state my personal picks, so if you aren’t interested in that then I hope you have a great rest of your day or night, you can stop reading here. I personally would like to see a second Splatoon 2 rep, having Octoling as a playable character would be a dream come true for me. Next one is highly unlikely in my opinion, but a character from Genshin Impact would be another dream come true of mine. The game is way too recent to be put into Ultimate, but I love Genshin Impact for it’s entertaining and interesting gameplay along with the world you can explore and it’s amazing cutscenes with an entertaining story. Having a Genshin Impact rep not only will represent the mobile games industry but also indirectly represent the anime community and bring interesting gameplay. I would love a Lethal League Blaze character not only for the gameplay but also so that we can get Lethal League Blaze music in Smash, along with new arrangements. I would also love to see a character from Bravely Default, again, for the music.

hmm, maybe the screen borders could get an hitbox just for the ball only, and if it gets stuck somewhere, like Steve can respawn his crafting table, Candyman could respawn the ball, with a cooldown

I think this is incredibly well made. I thought that every stage should have like an invisible wall to keep the ball in bounds, in which it can just bounce up to 2 times, resetting this count every time Candyman hits the ball (and for the special attack of his, this would work since in LLB the ball can only warp to the other side of the wall once and then would bounce on it, stopping the special to continue unless candyman hits it while it's still in the special form) which would require skill and his viability would be skill based. In this game he can hit other characters himself so anybody that uses him can choose to rather go for the risky skillful playstyle (which is also predictable because of D-Special having it's own animation and ending lag) or the all in smash common playstyle (which wouldn't use the entire potential of the character and also he would deal less damage overall). Maybe not on purpose, but you designed a really balanced character for the roster and that's amazing tbh.

This character would be so fun and so risky at the same time. I'd imagine opponents can hit the ball and could damage and knock back Candyman with his own ball, and since their moves aren't centered around the ball, if you aren't careful you could just be giving them another method of comboing and damaging you while you struggle to even hit them. At the same time, if you play around the ball really well you could absolutely destroy anyone, especially the slower characters that couldn't hit the ball that well.

I want characters that keep their same animations from their games (Mr. G&W, almost Villager/Isabelle, and now Steve). Every character added to smash have both their animations and physical appearance touched up, but I would like for these next few characters to have their animation resemble what they had from their game (like Paperkitty did here) I looked up the game and found the animations IN-TACT!
